ZHOUSHAN, China, - A group of Chinese fisherman are turning to the Internet for help identifying a bizarre sea creature they caught in waters off Zhejiang Province.

The video, filmed April 25 in Zhoushan, shows the creature being reeled in by the fisherman and examined by the group, who use a pole to lift the strange fish's head out of the water for a better look.

The fishermen said they were unable to identify the animal, which they described as much larger than the fish they normally catch in the area.

The creature was described as having "two plump places on its under jaw with one tooth on each."

It was unclear whether the fishermen ultimately released the creature or captured it for further study.

I bet further study, as they sautee it in a wok.

I am amazed at how scary ugly some sea creatures are. We had a Golden Book Encyclopedia that I used to love to look through when I was young, and those deep sea fish would make me slam the book shut!

Looks fake or dead . Either that or a mutant from all the pollution in their waters.

Looks more like a river creature rather than a sea creature.
