Please list your top 5 VP picks for Donald Trump. This is assuming the campaign of Ted Cruz will collapse tomorrow, and Trump will cruise into Cleveland.

Dunno whom I’d recommend. I suspect it will be Christie, who I doubt can deliver NJ, where his favorable are in the tank. Politically, a better pick might be Condi Rice, Susana Martinez or Nikki Haley, but I doubt they would accept.

You can’t have a VEEP from the same state, nor ANY FAMILY MEMBER IN YOUR ADMINISTRATION , since JFK; it’s ILLEGAL!

It is not illegal to have the Prez. and VP from the same state. It’s just that the electors in the electoral college from that state cannot cast their votes for both the Pres. and VP candidates in that situation. They would cast their votes for the Pres. and have to cast their VP votes for someone not on the ticket. This could, if both came from a large state, result in a Prez. from one party and a VP from the other. But, if without the votes of the electors from the state in question being counted, the VP still gets a majority of electors, it is in fact legal to have a Pres. and VP from the same state.

The problem with naming VP possibilities that are well-versed in how things work in Congress (as DJT has indicated he is looking for) is WHO ISN’T OWNED BY DONORS? Other than Jeff Sessions, who is left?
Someone commented Condaleeza Rice. Firmly entrenched RINO. I am beginning to think in terms of WHO ISN’T bought and paid for, who is the REAL DEAL? Every politician who dissed DJT did so because the PTB gave the orders.

I don’t have a list of 5 yet, but definitely NONE of the lame also rans from this or previos primaries, especially Kasich! Hell, they don’t even like him I Ohio now, so I don’t see him delivering the state.
I want a VP that can continue on when Trump is done.

I don’t know everything about Susan Martinez, but what I have seen of her I like.
