It sorta does: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3422979/posts
I don’t see that as an endorsement.
I see that as congratulating Trump for basically winning the Primary process because the others are mathematically eliminated.
I’m calling horseshit on your post.
I can provide, to anyone curious for the truth, links to threads where every silly 2nd grade name in the book was thrown at Trump supporters. The Cruzbots have been relentless in their name calling and finally, Trump people decide enough was enough.
Sorry your side can’t handle the heat, should have thought it through before tossing silly insults.
Go find the site that other cruzettes formed, because they simply couldn’t convince ANYONE that Cruz was the man for the job. What does that say about Cruz and his supporters??
Jeez, this crap is getting old. Make a case for Ted, and do your level best to get people to see what you see. So far it’s been the opposite - dump of Trump and his supporters is no way to get people to come over to Cruz.
That was well deserved.
I don’t mind declaring someone who sides with violent Muslims, #Blacklivesmatter thugs, and American communist party goons dead to me.
I don’t mind mocking their supporters.
The idiots who don’’t abandon scumbag politicians like that earn my mockery.
Have a helping of that.
Still primary season...vote your conscience, etc.. Don’t vote for someone because he is a “presumptive nominee” (bad reason). The “rallying around” comes after June 7th.
But I just got here!
I’m missing all the good opusi. (opii?)
Well of COURSE he is... he IS anointed and thinks he is the "face of god" sent by Glen Beck to save us from that wicked capitalist "Donald the Trump" don't you know?!?
ROFL
Yeah that was a bad cycle too.
Thank you...I sincerely appreciate it.Since summer of 2015, I've explored/researched/evolved from Scott Walker/Ben Carson, then to Ted Cruz to Donald Trump. I did not take it lightly. So many times since 1988 I've stated that in a country population >300M, these are the best, most qualified candidates offered...thus concluding what a sad state of affairs we find ourselves in.
Like so many others on this forum I did hold my nose since the 1988 elections. This election season, with an initial 17 Republican candidates I reasoned with a plethora of differing candidates, surely a diamond in the rough could be uncovered. I dismissed the obvious, establishment RINOs, and examined the aforementioned candidates (pray that 3-4 of them have a place in a Republican Administration). I dismissed Cruz as my viable candidate on March 14 due to his duplicitous persona, his various pronouncements/backtracking. And Cruz's actions/ego/attacks since that time period have just solidified my position.
Donald Trump, I thought here I go again, having to hold my nose. I know of his background, his history, his somewhat crude, gruff, dismissive nature. BUT I also know of his generous philanthropic actions, his advancement, his mentoring of women in his businesses. His tackling an over budget, delayed construction issues (i.e. Wollman Rink).
To tell you the truth, Trump just grew on me these last 7 weeks. I lurked on this forum since late Dec 1997, joined in March 1998 to set forth the criminal nature of both Clintons. Look at Alamo girls compilations and I contributed thousands of posts for military preparedness, state of American education, the economic manipulations of the FED, Ronald Reagan tributes...BUT the preponderance of posts were addressing the Clintons scandals. Notwithstanding Trump's history with the Clintons (and I do wonder), he is the only candidate consistently addressing the Clintons' scandalous history. Not McConnell, not Boehner, not Ryan, not majority of Republican leaders since the 1990s, nor the media/FOX.
That so many RINOs (Representatives/Senators that we all have disgust towards) are pulling all stops to quash his candidacy makes me drawn to him. With all the backsliding this nation has experienced since 1990, with the voluminous progressive agenda entrenchment in our society...we are not best served by another 'compassionate conservatism' administration. Making America great again will necessitate great sacrifices, a tightening of the nation's belt, a telling of truths that no longer 'kick the can down the street' for future generations. Draconian measures may be needed. I'm convinced we, as a nation, are on the precipice, perhaps even already beginning to slip into the socialists abyss. Who of the 17 Republican candidates have shown an iota of being proactive, even necessarily combative? We have already gone through 8 years of 'Dope and Chains'.
I have questioned whether Trump found 'religion' like Ronald Reagan did in the 1960s. Is it a true conversion...I may have been fooled, but still, I don't pull the voting lever till Nov 2016. IMHO...a brokered, multi ballet Republican convection will thoroughly quash any semblance of Republican unity, thus assuring a Democrat victory (Clinton?, Biden?, Sanders?, Warren?, Castro?...)
Ken excuse my excessive keyboarding but still exploring, still searching, still questioning.
OTOH... IMHO...tomorrow Donald Trump will run basketball 'rings'' around Cruz.
Be well, be prosperous my FRiend, have a great week.
Don’t know this for a fact but maybe folks write an Opis to say adios and take their financial support of FR with them.
Be well
.
BTW, nobody here is financially supporting Trump.
And that Senator can be impeached or rejected when he obstructs the voters ...
I simply don’t get any of this.
If the Cruz and Trump Delegate Numbers were reversed and it became obvious that Cruz was the Presumptive Nominee, Jim would have stated that people here should support him.
Thus has NOTHING to do with either Candidate, but it has EVERYTHING to do with FR supporting the person who will be taking on the DemoncRat Candidate in the General Election.
I hope I am not being presumptive in expressing what I believe Jim would have done if the situation was reversed. It just seems like common sense to me.
Disclaimer: Former Cruzer now leaning Trump. Every day I lean a little more. Depending on what happens in Indiana tomorrow, I’ll probably stop leaning and just fall over.#;^)
You have anger issues.
My post was not directed at you.
However, I’m glad you chimed in to validate my very points.
Anger issues?! That’s clever!
Glad I could be of assistance. If you want facts to back up my claims, I’ve got ‘em.
Enjoy your day :)
Worst almost Opus ever. :-)
