Celebrity chef Jenn Louis has been arrested on suspicion of attacking her husband at their popular North Portland restaurant Lincoln.
Police showed up at the restaurant at 3808 N. Williams Ave. about 9:15 p.m. Friday following a 911 call by Louis' husband, David Welch. He told police that she had socked him in the nose and then left, according to Sgt. Pete Simpson, Portland police spokesman. When officers arrived, they interviewed Welch and took Louis' statement outside the restaurant.
Based on their accounts, Louis was booked into Multnomah County jail just before 11 p.m. on a domestic violence misdemeanor assault. She was released without bail.
Welch told The Oregonian/OregonLive that he finished his shift at Lincoln on Friday but only worked a half a shift on Saturday because of how he looked. He confirmed that Louis punched him in the nose.
"I'm fine," he said. "I'm not injured further than that."
He said the story was trivial but declined to provide details. He would not say whether he is pressing charges. The two are in the process of getting a divorce, he said. They've been married for 12 years.

He had a very rough 6-7 months, but my wife and I housed him for a month, and then his former pastor and congregation from his previous city (his new local church abandoned him) took turns housing him until he got back on his feet.
That was a real wakeup call to me about how badly the legal system is tilted against men.
He did what any rational man would have to do in 2016.
If he had so much as raised his arm to block her blow, and she was bruised as a result, HE would have gone to jail, and lost everything in the divorce. I'm fairly sure she hit him in order to provoke a response she could use against him.
He called the police in order to be the first to call, and thus control the narrative. This way, the police will record his injuries, and he can file assault charges against her. This will put her in a less advantageous position in the divorce.

A shrewd Guy who wants a divorce but doesn’t want to lose everything in this day and age of women are equals until they want a divorce and get 99.99% of everything because the system is tilted towards them.

Many men are at the end of violence from their wives who know they can GET AWAY WITH IT because the EQUALITY that they claim they are being denied is a damn SHAM.

Another great tip for a guy who has a wife who abuses him physically and verbally (who also has kids) is to hire a babysitter from time to time so you can have an excuse to get a “nanny cam”. Nothing like having some video evidence of the abuse to use in court as a trump card when she starts making crap up about being beaten to show him getting pummeled and cowering while she taunts and beats on him to sway the court in the other direction. (check local laws about if you can even use one)..

It’s high time women like you had the same voice as witches like Rosie O’Donnell, Joy Behar, and Hillary Clinton. They are no friends to women; all they are are enemies to men.
I am surprised no one has announced a verdict. GUILTY as hell.
I can imagine, it being a vocation kind of like race-car driver. The ones I know are serious Catholic homeschool dads with a bunch of kids. Not much room for alcoholic nutjobbery. Too many witnesses.
Not sure that one man is going to fix any of this nonsense, but we don’t disagree. There will come a point where the quiet, white majority in this country will stand up for itself, and it’s going to take a LOT of people by surprise.

I think MOST people nowadays were raised without a father and in talking to a person for a minute it is apparent who is who. They always seem to lack something, like that inner kernel of confidence, so they replace it with bluster and overt tough guy behavior.
There is no better way to destroy a society in 20 years than to destroy the family unit.
I love Alton Brown; I respect his knowledge and ability, but I had just assumed he was a homo.
