http://gawker.com/here-is-pedophile-billionaire-jeffrey-epsteins-little-b-1681383992

Donald Trump, Courtney Love, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, and uber-lawyer Alan Dershowitz may have been identified by a butler as potential “material witnesses” to pedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes against young girls, according to a copy of Epstein’s little black book obtained by Gawker.

An annotated copy of the address book, which also contains entries for Alec Baldwin, Ralph Fiennes, Griffin Dunne, New York Post gossip Richard Johnson, Ted Kennedy, David Koch, filmmaker Andrew Jarecki, and all manner of other people you might expect a billionaire to know, turned up in court proceedings after Epstein’s former house manager Alfredo Rodriguez tried to sell it in 2009. About 50 of the entries, including those of many of Epstein’s suspected victims and accomplices as well as Trump, Love, Barak, Dershowitz, and others, were circled by Rodriguez. (The existence of the book has been previously reported by the Daily Mail. Gawker is publishing it in full here for the first time; we have redacted addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, and the last names of individuals who may have been underage victims.)

some conservatives here also believe in the Marxist axiom: "The end justifies the means" and how easily people project the persona of their candidate...

Ted Cruz's behaviour during the entire course of this primary season, and him teaming up with the GOPe, has perfecetly epitomized unprincipled, Machiavellian tactics.

Ted Cruz has been magnitudes more Machiavellian than Donald Trump has. The GOPe and Cruz campaign long ago ceded the moral high ground to Donal Trump.

Cruz played the race card against Trump, knowing full well that it was a blatant smear, and totally false.

Then, after the cancellation of Trump's Chicago rally by organized Leftist criminality, Ted Cruz gave only lip service rebuke to the thugs, and, instead of showing solidarity with the frontrunner, or even his own party, Cruz proceeded to go on a ridiculous diatribe against Trump, even throwing in the "Trump campaign attacks reporters" smear that, of course, turned out to be a total hoax.

Then, of course, there was Cruz trying to blame Donald Trump for the National Enquirer story, which was totally false, and which was being shopped by the Rubio campaign weeks before. Indeed, the Rubio campaign went back and deleted Tweets in a futile effort to cover their tracks.

To reiterate, it is, by far, Ted Cruz and the GOPe who have employed Machiavellian tactics during this primary season.

Donald Trump has employed various tactics, some of them needlessly lowbrow, but his campaign has most definitely not used the same type of amoral tactics as Cruz has. Cruz, after jumping in bed with the GOPe, has taken the term "Machiavellian" to new heights.

One must be viewing the world through rose-tinted glasses to not see the naked, unprincipled opportunism which Ted Cruz has engaged in repeatedly.

Apparently, Ted Cruz plans on limping into the GOP convention with, at best, about 700 delegates or so.

And then what's he going to do somehow, magically? He's going to seize the nomination from Donald Trump, displacing the party's clear frontrunner.

Then what? This is the most ridiculous part: after swiping the nomination, he will:

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Cruz's best case scenario.

It would be laughable if it wasn't so dangerous.

Ted Cruz appears willing to sacrifice not only the party, but even the entire country, on the altar of his own blind personal ambition and egotism. God forbid!

Vote Trump

“Can you please point out to me even one verified paid disruptor? For any candidate?”

Sir it is a well known fact here on FR that people inside the various camps have people posting here and elsewhere, it’s even discussed on various news sites.

Also, we once had a couple of posters that were posting 24/7 as in every few minutes on various threads. It’s not hard to detect who those people are with a little work.

There are also accounts that only become active every 4 years then after the election nothing. There is another tell, one will post then a couple others will post in support of that misinformation post, “like oh yeah I read that article”.

Perhaps if we check your old account 1998 we could see a pattern of only posting during elections.

I see while your account is old it isn’t very used, before this string of posts your last post was on 10-3-2008 only one post then back to 8-27-2007.

This is another indicator of someone else using an old account, not that is what is happening to your account. But we look for large holes in a persons posting history.

while your account was started in Sept. of 1998.

So you have come back to life just to pump for Ted.

I'm not finding much to disagree about with your response post...

Cruz certainly has disappointed me on several levels...

The point I was making, which you seemed to miss was the lowbrow antics Trump used in his campaign rhetoric was picked up here at FR and used against decent people who simply supported Cruz because he was a conservative candidate, or either did not like Trump as a candidate or didn't think he had the temperament to be POTUS...

As soon as Trump amped up his rhetoric by making extremely personal attacks against Rubio and Cruz, verses attacking their policy or political position...(which is much harder to do)

Trump followers followed suit and got very ugly...

How can anyone justify the use of the term "Cruzlim" in describing Cruz supporters...

So being a Cruz supporter is akin to aligning yourself with the evil of Islam... ?

Really?

Personally, I've never used that term. I've said "Cruz fanboys" a few times.

So being a Cruz supporter is akin to aligning yourself with the evil of Islam... ?

No, but at this point being a Cruz supporter means supprting the GOPe efforts to instigate shenanigans at the convention. There is absolutely no reason to think that Ted Cruz deserves the GOP nomination, whether you want to judge him by popular vote, delegates, or anything else.

The only thing Ted Cruz can do is try to help the GOPe succeed in denying Donald Trump the 1,237 delegates, while selfishly hoping to then win a nomination he clearly doesn't merit.

Apparently, Ted Cruz plans on limping into the GOP convention with, at best, about 700 delegates or so.

Ted Cruz appears fully willing to sacrifice his own party, and even the country, on the altar of his own blind personal ambition. His scheme is absolutely wrong-headed, futile, and serves no constructive purpose, only destructive ones.

Cruz has been duped by the GOPe, which is yet another reason he should never be near the Oval Office.

“But we look for large holes in a persons posting history.” Who is “we”? Are you part of some politically correct vigilante group trying to stomp out all dissent?

So then, you can’t name anyone that is paid to post. Just because a person is excited by the election doesn’t mean they are paid to post. The name of this venue is FreeRepublic.com, so I assume the freedom to reasonably dissent is welcome here. When I see something I want to post about, I post and I don’t give a flip about threats or investigations of my posting history. Who are you to tell me I can’t only post during elections? My posts are reasonable and well thought out discussions of the issues. And where were you during the March for Justice in Washington when we called for Bill Clinton’s impeachment?

Like it or not, Cruz is still my senator. Your unfiltered hatred is pointed at the better senator from Texas. One I voted for and plan to vote for again.

Even if you believe that king Trump has been ordained (in spite of the fact he doesn’t have 1237 yet.,,), the win is not enough. Trumps opponents and their supporters must be punished and insulted...

That attitude is harmful... and the best way to support Trump would be to start acting like a graceful winner.

It sure would be boring if everybody supported the same candidate around here. It’s a mistake to ban folks for vigorous political debate that disagrees with the predominate view.

Bad, very bad idea.

Seriously, tabloid pablum? I am supposed to decide a vote on one of the most important offices in the United States based on tabloid rumormongering from a source that isn’t even as credible as the National Enquirer?

You have to do better than that. You have to produce actual evidence—like maybe testimony or statements taken from Epstein’s trial—that Donald Trump not only knew, but was complicit in Epstein’s criminal activity. None of that stuff from “gawker” shows that. No one becomes a criminal just because they know someone who turns out to be a criminal. Plus, you did not answer any of my questions and explain exactly how Trump supposedly is not conservative.

Meanwhile, by looking at the candidates’ qualifications and comparing them to the “job description” for president as found in the Constitution, Trump not only looks like the best man for the job, but like our best bet for starting to undo the damage that decades of liberal lawyer presidents and congressmen have done to the country. Anyone else will just continue the destruction. I have grandkids to worry about—what kind of country will they have to face as young adults?

You wrote........”This whole thread represents the demise of Free Republic as I’ve known it all these years...... I logged on today for the first time in a week or so to see if it was any better. The first post I see is one that advocates elimination of all but a single point of view. What more can I say.”........

Looks that way doesn’t it?........and it certainly looks like this is the way it’s going to be. It does appear the majority want this to be a “Trumptopia” so it’s probably better to just leave.

I don’t see how it’s even possible, for the general election, to return here regardless of who wins. It’s not just the election, it’s how I’ve seen this Trump mania turn people into something I’ve not seen in them before. It’s dark and it’s nasty.

I stopped posting once it became obvious the attacks were indeed to get people to leave, or provoke them sufficient enough to get them zotted...and this from people I’ve known for years I thought higher of....and I still see this is the agenda of far too many here.

You also stated..”What more can I say”.......well that is the point....the freedom to do so isn’t here now....it’s become something else here than what I’ve known....and that’s what’s so difficult to get ones head around.

I am going to waste a few keystrokes here, but here goes. The appellation "Lyin' Ted" came from a Trump tweet. Trump begins the tweet about anyone he is opposed to with a pejorative, be it that Dopey Al-Walid, or the Criminal Hillary, that is how he communicates. How Presidential. In fact, that any self confident billionaire and captain of industry would feel the need to resort to such juvenile tactics belies a lack of confidence in his own ability to win in virtually any situation be it business or politics. If you want to buy in with that, you join in my opinion with him in his tactics and the amount of respect I feel they are due. But then that's the problem around here. So many have gone there, so many have descended to that level of 'thoughtful conversation', that those of us who prefer thoughtful disagreement to grade school playground Alinsky tactics just aren't going to hang around.

Ah, 'little Marco' called Ted a liar in the debates, long before Trump ever tweeted the title. I remember one in particular when 'little Marco' got so under Ted's skin, Ted launched into 'Spanish' right there in front of the world.

The Cruz hardliners have disrupted and dishonored the owner’s directives and wishes for weeks now, even though they have been told by Jim Himself that the show was over... and to can it.

they will and do continue to carp, and snipe and actively repeat and assert every Hillary lie, democrat slur, and traitorous deceit because that is what their WICKED lying candidate is doing and will continue to do even after the convention... unless Ted drops out. He wont.

Ted will not accept defeat but will demand write ins, or leave and start a counter party... He will direct his supporters to vote for the suspension of rule 41, or anything he thinks might be to his advantage.

He is NOT on America’s side. He is a living puppet of Jealousy with his “look at me I wanna be president” self exalting “face of God” trip.

His intent is to jinn up violence and hatred against Donald, at campaign stops, even after he loses in Cleveland. Would he welcome Donald having more assault perpetrators at every turn? I think so. I believe it. Every honest trump supporter knows that THIS IS THE KIND OF BEHAVIOR we EXPECT from Ted.

He continually demonstrates that he is a TRAITOR to the cause. and just as a leopard cannot change it’s own spots and the scorpion by nature stings... Ted cannot change what he has been behind the scenes, ever since he attended law school.

Until there is a wooden stake in the very heart of his campaign there will be no peace. Everyone KNOWS this by instinct... and if they deny it, they are either very naive OR they are like minded travelers on the road to destruction.

I think the idea of ignoring their threads is a “cute” idea, but it won’t work. Jim is dealing with it right. I say we let him instruct us as to the way he wants it handled during this election season...

No kumba ya lord, until hostilities from the Cruz side ends... and Ted closes his campaign.
Those who want to take the scorpions across the river on their own backs, will suffer the fate of scorpion sting... just like we see now all the time. No false hope. No false peace.

When a cruzer surrenders and kisses the ring... then make peace. Until then, premature offerings of quarter will bring about more mayhem.
