"...We're not Spartans, we're Americans! With a capital 'A' huh! You know what that means? Do you? That means that our Forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the retched refuse. The underdog. We're mutts!"

You may not like Bill Murray but have you at least met the guy before deciding that? He is the most humble, approachable man. An everyday Joe. He is a part owner of our “AAA” baseball team here in Charleston. You can see him at games all the time without ever knowing he is there ahead of time.

Plus he got really fed up at a fan filming him with an iPhone at a Palm Beach golf tourney last year. He grabbed the phone and threw it off the top floor of the building they were partying on. Gotta love him for that alone!

My forefathers were not kicked out of anywhere. They chose to escape religious persecution and starvation. It took people with a daring spirit to cross an ocean in those days. Our country was founded by intelligent mavericks. From our intelligent mavericks came most of the inventions that have benefitted the whole world.

“His last movie St Vincent was fantastic-—

You are right—I had forgotten about that.A very nice movie and there aren’t too many “nice” movies these days.

“Groundhog Day” was also a winner and has become sort of a cult classic.

I don’t know Murray personally. I just don’t care for his comedy. I’m a huge PGA fan and an avid golfer. He acts like a stupid ass to try to be funny at the pro/am tournament at Pebble beach every year. That’s where I began to be turned off by his asinine shtick.

He may be a great guy but he tries to hard to force people to laugh. It doesn’t have a natural feel and it’s like he thinks any dumb thing he does will be hilarious just because of who he is.

Anyway it’s just my personal opinion of his comedy... don’t worry about it.
