Sadly, no.
We don’t have them here.
The closest I have seen would be Black Racers.
Come to think of it, for whatever reason, none of the snakes I caught and brought home ever bit me.
I would have to say my favorite wild snake is the Ringneck.
They are such naturally docile, beautiful little worms.

Salamanders. ha.
We came up on 10 foot rattler and my wife yelled “Get the pistol, get th pistol!”
I jumped out of the truck, ran up to the snake and chased him off the road. Very interesting rattler, huge and fast.
She asked whether I had lost my mind and I replied that I had been around snakes a lot, had kept them in my bedroom. Thought seriously about herpetology as a living.
Funny stuff.
