Any weapon in the hands of idiots is a bad idea. Unfortunately, we can’t fix stupid.
I don’t have an issue with high penalties at all. I agree with you. This dog will lose its life and the owner loses his pet. I think that is the ultimate penalty.
I’m sure you’d agree it would be small consolation to someone who loses a beloved pet or child to a pit bull.
I like dogs, guns, but maybe there should be restrictions on certain breeds, just as I can’t keep a tiger in my house, without special licensing.
It has been a while since I heard of a rampaging golden retriever or standard poodle.
