Sen. Karin Housley says that she plans to introduce a bill Monday hoping to make the color Minnesota's.
Housley says she's a huge Prince fan and that seeing the world lit up in purple makes her proud. She says Prince was special and "he was ours."

prince was a coked up nothing. He was a pathetic example of decadence and decay of our culture and nation. He blew up on cocaine like Elvis, Hendrix, Janis Joplin etc etc etc. They were all coke headed nothings I per5sonally don’t worship coke headed over dosers. Do you?
Never have, never will. But there are those that do.
IMO Prince was a nasty little cupcake of perversion iced in genuine talent. The disturbing, ugly stuff bled through the talent though. Drugs wouldn’t surprise me, but if true he lasted longer than most users.
Honestly, I'd prefer a government that spent more time honoring dead rock stars and less time passing legislation that screws up our lives.
