I guess my fear is that Trump will veer WAAAY left after elected and be as bad or worse than Hillary. I supposed I need to see how the next few months play out and see if he sticks to his past positions. If he becomes squishy as he did yesterday then..........
I was a Cruz supporter, but he’s pretty well done. I’m now just trying to stomach Trump....it’s not easy, let me tell you.
Considering that Hillery wants to continue Obama’s mass importation of Muslims to make American like Germany... I doubt Trump will ever reach that level. He genuinely seems to dislike the Muslim menace.
I hear you... I made the jump to hyper space last November.
By hyper space I mean NY hyperbole... IE:
Realize his NY dialect is different than mine & took a YUGE amount of getting used to, “I can hardly believe it, I promise you it was a disaster.” (translation: I did not make the change easy.)
He makes an off the cuff remark, in NY parlance and then while every is gagging on their own disbelief he fills in the blanks that sometimes help translate it from NY speak to flyover dialect... usually.
If someone laid a hand on Melania in a shopping mall restroom, he would blow their ####### brains out, trust me, it would be the biggest disaster for them... that means gray matter and splattered blood mixed with hair on the floor and is NOT theoretical and all. Trump? “Not going to be much of a problem, in my view with the restroom thing... its not going to be much of a problem. yeah sure, try it out, see how it works.” is what he would say... all the while he is thinking of the mess on the floor somebody is going to mop up after he drives away... WITH Melania and the boy... and three rounds short of a full magazine in his carry along security device.
Yeah. I know, Real Americans of the 911 NYC variety can speak and think in pretty direct terms... and in the process we get to hear a few extra colorful “EFF this” and “EFFING that...” commentaries. even verbal exaggerations and projected results. Christians and devout ones run to the prayer closet crying “dear God save us from hearing the bad words!”
God might respond something like... “he killed the bastard, good shot, that was a 3 inch group, story over, he’s the husband, she’s the wife, the bad guy is a smear on the floor and currently roasting in hell, just move on.”
Linguistically, we feel that too, but don’t dare say it. They (NYC folks) say it, and say it with feeling. Gusto. fughedaboudit... it is no joke... neither is “swimmin’ with the fishies”.
I am pretty sure the rest of the world gets it, and thats why they are whining about our elections here. They are afraid that they are going to get an ass kicking instead of the foot kissin that bam bam and hillary are famous for.
as much as I hate to make nice with a recent and former cruz supporter, if Trump could NOT pick Ted, is there anyone you would prefer he picked as his veep?
