Boris Johnson suggests 'part-Kenyan' Obama may have an 'ancestral dislike' of Britain

Boris Johnson was accused of 'dog whistle racism' and likened to right-wing 'Tea Party' politicians in the US this morning after his attack on the 'part-Kenyan' Barack Obama.

The Mayor of London spoke out against the US President after he urged British voters to stay in the EU and mentioned his African ancestry as he criticised the decision to remove a bust of Sir Winston Churchill from the Oval Office shortly after Mr Obama entered the White House.

Mr Johnson - who is favourite to succeed David Cameron as Prime Minister - suggested the President got rid of the statue as a 'snub' to Britain's wartime prime minister and a 'symbol of the part-Kenyan President's ancestral dislike of the British empire'.

But Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell hit out at Mr Johnson and demanded he withdraw the controversial remarks.

Can you point me to an article by Roberts? I am not coming up with anything in a search.

It wasn’t in an article. He made his disdain clear in a talk he gave on Churchill. The talk is on YouTube. Will dig it out for you later if that is okay.

I am struggling to send links from my phone but the video on YouTube is: Andrew Roberts - Churchill and the Historians. The lecture was given at Hillsdale. He briefly mentions Obama’s father early on but elaborates from roughly 30:00.

He doesn’t pull any punches calling Obama’s father ‘duplicitous’ and a man who ‘constantly made things up, when he wasn’t drunk.’

Remember that Obama sent back Churchill’s bust after he infected the White House

Someone should do a search to see if any other president has ever returned a gift from another country. I would bet not.

The return of Churchill's bust, especially after considering Churchill's role as an ally in WWII, was a tremendous insult to Britain.

Did he return the bust? The article on Drudge says Obama merely moved it to his personal residence in the WH.

The article on Drudge says Obama merely moved it to his personal residence in the WH.

It defies belief that King Barack didn't move it out of spite. Obama most likely detests Churhchill and other colonial Brits. If he took it out of the Oval Office and put it in his room, it's probably in a closet. He probably takes it out to thrown darts at it from time to time.
