Con”cat”ulations!!! She is a beauty and knows she has fallen into the clutches of a true fur Mama. Love, cuddles, food, love, more cuddles and lots of love, she has it made!
Yes, I am generating a bunch of plastic dust which will have to be thoroughly vacuumed up, especially for the sake of Bijou. This is only the second time I've made something of PVC pipe, so I wasn't keen on investing in a cutter which would sit around til who knows when I had another PVC project. I will photograph the kitten gate when finished and post it here so you can see it. Can hardly wait to finish it and move her into the kitchen. I am taking hand breaks so that I don't strain my hand, great time to post and read on FR.

They all look very well fed. Rolling in the dirt is a favorite activity of our brown tabby, Jake. He seems to think that a brown cat covered with brown dirt is invisible to its intended prey.

This poor little girl doesn't even know how to play with toys.
Mine doesn't either. She has two toys, Petey Possum and squeeker mouse but only seems to play with them when I'm out of the house and they end up outside my bedroom door.
She's not affectionate, does not like to be picked up but yet is always just on the outskirts watching me.
She's a floor cat, meaning that she doesn't jump on tables and stuff and when I go to bed and turn on the TV, only occasionally can I coax her to come up and join me and when she does, it's only for about 10 minutes then it's off the bed and into her own which is just outside my bedroom door........
I should also mention that her name is Squeek and she got her name because she can not meow...........Like right now, which is close to her dinner time, I'll hang out in the kitchen and turn around to see her sitting watching me and she'll opening her mouth attempting to meow.
With that being said, she DOES know how to howl and has done so on numerous occasions over the years at the wee hours of the morning when a feral cat comes onto my back deck and up to the door wall.........She gets pissed!
Anyway, Squeek is a good cat and purrrfect for my lifestyle.........

Sometimes I wonder what leftists would make of the fact that the the supposedly fire-breathing conservatives on FR spend a lot of time just talking about their cute cats.
We have 2 precious kitty cats- both adopted. Our male is a polydactyl named John Cougar Meloncat and our little girl is Kitty Te Kanawa (nammed after the opera singer Kiri Te Kanawa). (mrs. teletech named them)

I’m findng life without a cat (or cats) is untenable...but the older I get, the less I seem to be able to deal with the inevitable heartbreak involved with losing them...
but I think it’s time to get back in the cat sweepstakes again, especially after seeing the photo...
