Here we go again! Another Emergency Adobe FLASH Update to prevent a RANSOMEWARE malware attack for ALL PLATFORMS! This is getting tiresome. . . Adobe Flash is the single most vulnerability laden application in the tech environment with what seem like almost weekly updates to patch one more vulnerability with actual Exploits in the wild that affect all platforms. The best practice is to BANISH Adobe Flash from your machines! PING! PINGING: dayglored, Shadow Ace, and ThunderSleeps for the Windows, Tech, and Android ping lists.
All Platforms: JUST SAY NO TO FLASH!
Ping!
The latest Apple/Mac/iOS Pings can be found by searching Keyword "ApplePingList" on FreeRepublic's Search.

Overtime I update, Fire Fox says it is not updated!! You generally have to quit out of all the browsers you are using for their plug-ins to be updated during the Adobe Flash update. Perhaps that is your problem?
Your real problem is you have Adobe Flash on your computer in the first place.

I wish developers would get on board with HTML5 so we could do away with the scourge that is Flash.

When are they ever going to put these flash drivers out to pasture? There has to be a better way to provide that type of media without having the danger of getting your data stolen or corrupted by these evil SOB’s.

That's easy to say, but there's a lot out there that still requires it. Apple did its job. Steve Jobs excluded support from iOS, and told the world Flash and BlueRay were a world of troubles. The content providers haven't really picked up the ball.

How is it that Flash is year-after-year continually insecure, with update after update needed, apparently to no end.
What is it about Flash that makes it difficult to fix, for once and for all?

What is my Flash Player version? Says it up-to-date? Website does not have your version as the latest yet.
Has 21.0.0.182 as the latest and says it is up to date.

Hsmomx3 I have to get my flash update here. One of the few still running xp but should work for any version.
https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
That auto-update page does not work for me, will not allow download updates to work, so I have to download the standalone full version.

Your real problem is you have Adobe Flash on your computer in the first place. If you like to stream video movies, you have Adobe Flash (and about 5 Firefox security add-ons like Ghostery, Ublock origin, ClickNClean, Flashblock, and Remove It Permanently). Make sure Ublock has updated parent files lists too.

Yup. Apple never released built in Blu-Ray support for MacOS because the digital righst stuff created “a world of hurt”. Basically, to accommodate Blu-Ray, you have to destabilize the whole OS, per Jobs (working off his engineers, to be sure).

The same thing that made Photoashop an aggressive memory hog, and the same thing that took a reasonable array of products, and made new versions available only through subscription. It is a five letter word, and it ain't Apple.

Adobe stinks. They’ve lived primarily in cornered markets with few if any alternatives their whole life and allow themselves to ship crappy products. Their PDF software is crap too.
