Contortionist (Trump Has More Flip-Flops than Old Navy)
The Qualified Opinion ^ | April 4, 2016

Posted on 04/04/2016 1:27:17 PM PDT by newgeezer

Three days. Five categorically different statements about abortion. Donald Trump officially has more flip-flops than Old Navy, and yet his supporters stand by him because they feel the economy is more important. More important to trust a man who has bankrupted several of his businesses because he borrowed too much money at too high of rates because bankers didn’t have enough faith in his business plans to give him normal lending rates. More important to trust a man who “stands” against illegal immigration despite being fined for hiring illegal immigrants to work on his projects and having hired illegal immigrants as recently as last summer. More important to have trust in a man who changes his “principles” at the first whiff of unpopularity.

The next President will likely appoint four Supreme Court justices, which practically assures the ability to overturn a series of rulings that have led to the killing of over fifty million unborn children. However, that will only happen if that President is a person of principle and character, who will thoroughly vet all possible candidates and expend all of that President’s political capital, if necessary, to ensure that pro-life justices are seated. But ignore the many lies, ignore the unborn cries, the economy is more important.

I didn't write this. But, it captures my thoughts on The Donald quite well.

Also, The next President will likely appoint four Supreme Court justices.

Let that sink in for a moment.

“The next President will likely appoint four Supreme Court justices.”

Let’s hope they turn out better for us than Souter and Roberts.

I have, and I am fine with whom Donald will select to the Supreme Court. Besides, Ted can’t win and he is not eligible, so we will get Hillary’s or Sander’s pick.

and the GOP establishment wants Hillary to appoint them

They don't give a damn

Trump will allow Senator Jeff Sessions to advise him

Ted Cruz has already gave us Obamacare and he is trying for Obama trade. Sessions only ran for Senate because he was voted down as a Judge by the Democrats, I think I trust Trump and Sessions

We saw GW Bush and Ted Cruz's pick , John Roberts

So much wrong with Trump, so many things to let sink in...it’s just awful...

Yet he is walking away with more support than any Repubican candidate in recent history, people stand in line in freezing weather for hours to attend his events, and nobody gives a thought to what Jeb! or Liddle Marco or Rand Paul might think, do, or say.

I’d be happy if Trump were to appoint his wife and three eldest children to the Supreme Court. We’d be far better off than what Hillary would do

So to use a Trump expression: “Don’t worry about it”.

Still it matters more to many voters to have an American for president. One who stands for American values. One who relates to America’s allies. One who respects our history and values. Many are willing to accommodate minor flaws just to have a non-politician with backbone. Voters want the border fixed and immigration laws FIXED really FIXED. Secure borders matter most of all whereas Cruz and Kasich revealed themselves to be weak on illegal immigration; that error is un-recoverable in my opinion.

Trump is a uniquely evil person—the worst person ever to run for President. The first person to do so without a single redeeming quality, who has never done a kindness for a single person. He has never opened a Bible and has never attended church. He does not believe in the Constitution or Jesus Christ. Trump believes only in Trump. Trump speaks into a microphone before enthusiastic crowds, just like another politician in the 1930’s, in Germany. You know—Hitler. All of Trump’s businesses have been scams, or bankruptcies, or vulgar. Ted Cruz is the anointed of God.

He’s not a professional politician so I expect that his positions will shift as he learns the ropes.

A fair question is do we want to elect someone who is still learning the ropes? The answer is, “not really.”

However, the alternative is professional politicians ala the Dems and GOPe. That’s far worse.

So I’ll live with it...

If you really are a Catholic priest, don’t you think it is wrong to say things like you posted here that are categorically untrue?

I guess you give me yet another reason to be thankful that I am not tied to a religion that accepts or tolerates lying and slander like that.

That he has done as well as he has is amazing enough.. That others still don’t get ‘it’ .. Is not surprising.

AMerica has a soft underbelly for underdog..

Considering what he is up against, it may do him well to return to his original beginnings of his campaign.

Especially after the most recent developments in the unimpeded invasion of our borders and culture.

It sure makes you wonder how many of us here still believe that the people should have the right to choose leaders.
