My first garden was a terrarium !

Much easier to maintain than an AQUARIUM, but still a thing of delight! :-)

I am only allowed to have a garden in the space in front of and around the 3 obligatory juniper bushes in front of my home, in my development. But I have turned that into a lush pair of gardens, one on each side of the sidewalk leading up to the porch. In the two 17 x 3 foot strips, I have 2 rose bushes, astilbe, 30 gorgeous designer hostas and a dozen heucheras, dianthus, dicentra, perennial salvia, iris, ferns, various annuals, a dwarf spirea (Neon Flash), angelina succulent, and a couple things I know I’m forgetting.
