I really doubt it
Unless the women telling these stories are exceptionally beautiful, I am skeptical about them — and I am not trying to insult Michelle Obama here. I am a woman who is neither beautiful nor unattractive, and I occasionally look well put together. From the age of fourteen to present — I am now in my late forties — no one has bothered me when I walk around American cities. Yet people like Joy Behar (formerly of The View) tell stories about how they can’t stand being treated “like pieces of meat†by men as they walk down the street. Huh? What are these women talking about? I KNOW I am more attractive than Joy Behar, yet no one is mothering moi. Can anybody explain this to me?
