What the fans saw was Cruz crying in his beer at the same bar that Superman had just left.

I don’t get it. Superman and Batman are both supposed to be GOOD GUYS. Why would there be any VS.? Unless it is a competition to do the most GOOD, that is!

That said, I’m a once-every-few-years movie goer, and don’t expect to attend.

TCM will have a Superman-Batman day with the original B&W movies from the 1940s.

Quite a bit different from today’s high dollar budget movies.

Because Superman is a liberal trying to impose his brand of “justice” on Gotham, where Batman’s brand of justice suffices.

Good old Hollywood. A matchup between Superman and Batman would last about 0.05seconds, if the characters were true to the original fictional characters. But then that wouldn’t be fun, would it?

Actually, Affleck did a great job as Batman. I've seen the previews and it's just as good as when Christian Bale did it.

Just like when people thought Heath Ledger was a horrible choice for The Joker, but his Joker was even better than Nicholson's.

My son saw it last night at Radio City and LOVED it. He’s going back tonight to see it at an IMAX theater.

I suspect if you liked the dreck that was Man of Steel you would like this. If you didn't, you most likely won't be seeing Batman v. Superman.

There are a couple of comic book series where they ended up fighting. The most famous is a graphic novel from 1986 called The Dark Knight Returns. That series was so influential in the comic book world, it brought back Batman to the big screen.

Exactly. But they say that Batman’s intelligence is what he supposedly has tis his advantage.

But what about Superman’s father bestowing the knowledge and wisdom of the all of the know universes to him on his journey from Krypton?

And if Batman is that smart he would know to become friends pretty quick with a guy that can crush you like bug if you get close enough or incinerate your ass with his heat vision or take you into space to suffocate you...

Don’t get me wrong, I still want to see it...

Let Superman work in emergency management, and leave the crimefighting to Batman. How hard is that?

Exactly. Batman could never beat Superman. Premise is stupid.

Won’t be watching this one, or any that feature ultra-libturd Affleck. No thanks. My $$$ won’t be supporting his anti-American views.

Ledger’s Joker was good. Nicholson’s Joker was really just Nicholson’s Nicholson in Joker makeup. He was really at the height of his phoning it in period where all of his character were basically the same (really you could take his scenes out of Witches of Eastwick and drop them straight in and hardly notice). The good news was Nicholson’s self parody period was fun, but I’ll never say his Joker was good because as entertaining as it was he really didn’t do the Joker.

This whole premise has always sounded ridiculous to me. Even as a kid.
Batman shouldn’t have a prayer in hell against superman. Superman has real superpowers. Cmon!

B v S is a direct sequel to Man of Steel.

Turns out one of Bruce Wayne’s corporate buildings was the site of a major blowout between Superman and General Zod, which resulted in a lot of civilian casualties.

That doesn’t sit well with ole Bats.
