Russia says that its pullout from its air base in Syria will be complete in just two or three more days, but it is leaving behind a more potent attack helicopter force than what was ever there before.

Both the Mi-28 and the KA-52 attack helicopters have been spotted around the base within the last 24 hours. Here’s why the Kremlin is upping its combat helicopter capability just as it is pulling its fixed wing fighter and attack aircraft.

Probably better suited for the mopping up work that’s left.

You need to add the width and height tags at the end of the statement such: ccvcvcvv.jpg” width=600 height =400>

Take the full image dimension and divide by 2 or 3 whatever makes it a reasonable size for the page - use ‘Preview’ to check size before posting.

But that’s the same 28NM I posted in a different pose.

Correction the KA 50 had 4 hard points while the 52 has 6 - so you got the right image - the one I used is also listed as a 52 for some reason. Not having much luck with images today ...

That is a KA-25 ASW helicopter, totally unrelated to the KA—52. The big bulge is its radome.

The Russian AEW helicopter is the KA-31, which uses a retractable radar.

The MI-28 is far bigger than the Tiger, with nearly twice the weight.

Or you can use proportional spacing and ignore the actual image sizes, like so:

<img src="http://russianplanes.net/images/to170000/169597.jpg" width=100%>

This sizes the image to 100% of the width of the enclosing container.
