I think last night maybe just sealed the nominations for Trump.
It is a Wellstone Memorial type moment.
Voters are not going to be impressed Cruz/Kaisch/Rubio rushed right out to side with the rioters.
They are not fixin’ the problem(s), they are fixin’ the Blame.....
In some circles, this is known as Blaming the Victim.
Cruz is not seen as a viable threat with any chance of winning so anarchist wont bother.
Remember when Freepers were angry at him for it and said it ruined his chance to be president? I was angry at Trump back then because he was wrong.
Would Cruz also say that a victim of rape bears responsibility for wearing sexy clothes?
Would Cruz say women in Europe deserve it for not wearing Burkas?
Did you mean 3 dollar bill? 2 dollar bills exist.
Anyone that thinks Trump caused the rioting is a damn fool.
There is a First Amendment to our Constitution and those that ignore that has proven that they are not Conservatives or just a part and parcel of the GOPe that has ruined our country.
I think it's more sinister [see note below] than that. I think the Left is poised for the radical takeover of America, and will institute that takeover over the will of The People, if necessary. If we acquiesce, they will simply push us out of the way. If we resist, they will counter with violence.
So we're just sticking our heads in the sand if we pretend that this will end with anything other than bloodshed. Either we fight back or we deserve to get trampled.

Cruz might if it meant that he could get votes out of it.
Didn’t trump encourage people at one of his events to punch a protester and then say he’d pay the legal bills for anyone who did so? He might not have been serious - and I’m sure he wasn’t - but that’s the kind of rhetoric that leads to this. That’s the point Cruz and others are making. If you encourage your teen age daughter to behave like a slut.....don’t think you had nothing to do with it when she comes home pregnant with an STD.

I do remember.
I’ve never seen any candidate for office in the USA openly advocate for violence at their own rallies.
Now to cover up that fact Trump supporters are blaming those who are pointing out the truth.
Scary times.
Then they are dazed and befuddled when the inevitable backlash hits.
Lyin' Ted, Little Marco, and Karate Kasich really stepped in it by siding with the thugs and blaming Trump.
I don’t blame Trump a bit for the disrupters.
Maybe it is the former cop in me, but I do think Trump faile to descalate the situation. A good leader when confronted with idiots like this can generally figure out a way to difuse the situation. I’ve had many a screaming idiot waving her hands in my face because I was arresting her baby daddy who really need a swift hit from my billy club or even a bullet to center mass. I almost always figured out some other way of dealing with the situation, however.
Yes, sometimes you need to crack skulls, but only after every other approach has been tried. Trump failed in this regard.
And this is a micro version of the world. The Palesinians, N Korea, etc., all need billy clubs upside the head (or a shot in center mass), but you also need to think long term.

Donald Trump said he wanted to punch a protester "in the face" after the man disrupted a campaign rally in Las Vegas on Monday night.
"Here's a guy, throwing punches, nasty as hell, screaming at everything else, when we're talking," Trump told the crowd, although CNN reported the man did not appear to be fighting with security officers. Of course they did, because it would justify what Trump said.
But the hysterics here claiming he stands with Moveon.org now don't do their credibility any favors.
Did slate blame Obama for the violence of his Obamatons?
