Ted Cruz Says Donald Trump's Voters Have "relatively low information" And Are "not that engaged"
The Brody File ^ | 3/10/2016 | David Brody

Posted on 03/10/2016 5:22:05 AM PST by joesbucks

GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz tells The Brody File that the reason Donald Trump is performing well in the GOP race for president is because his voters are uninformed and not engaged in the process. “Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice.

And it’s simply not true, but I have posted that a lot. Trump voters MORE educated, on average.

You misspelled "guise."

If we believe the Brody report, Cruz strongly implied that Trump is corrupt, which I think is just as damaging a claim (whichever way the claim swings, might boomerang) as the one that Trump voters are uneducated and ignorant.

The more PC or mild form of claim that Cruz is making is that Trump is a Washington insider, not by being inside, but by working with those who are inside. In contrast, he claims, he has consistently been fighting against the established political order, and will continue to do so.

Hey CanuckTed!

Where's your CRBA to verify your NBA eligibility?

Notice the line at the bottom of that? "A Consular Report of Birth is proof of United States Citizenship by law: 22 USC 2705"

Didn’t see it the first time. We’ll see if this one survives. Someone also just posted after me the same link and story, so they may lock one out. But it will be interesting based on your experience if one or the other survives.

“relatively low information” is simply code for ‘racist’ and really dumb people will not vote for trump to prove that they are not racists.

I think there is also a strong “choose to ignore” aspect in those who follow Trump. They intellectually know of his liberal past, but don’t care because they connect with the angry meme of his campaign and is political incorrectness.

I think there’s a ‘strong copies to ignore aspect’ about cRuz followers. The see the repeated signs, daily, of his GOPee stripes, yet they refuse to accept or deal with it, realistically.

They are happy to go along with CRuz’s holier than thou rhetoric for their ‘conservative’ pablum.

I’m going with the candidate who has proven leadership and business experience and is not a Bush PAC/operative paid career politician.

Is this a new tactic?

Win your competitor’s voters by insulting them?

Or is it the same old certainty that non-liberals have no where else to go so it doesn’t really matter what you say or how you treat them.

More or less the same attitude democrats have about their plantation blacks.

The latest Trump bashing goes like this: the evidence clearly shows, Trump has consistently supported establishment candidates, has given thousands of dollars to entrenched politicians, and has surrounded himself with long-time Republican establishment operatives....

IMHO, this says it all. Wonder no more why pols are afraid to take him on.

All that time he was donating, Trump was not running for anything and used politicians to get business done. The calculating pols knew this, so Trump was on the politicians/ hit list as a sucker who/d write a check, no questions asked.....extortion at its finest.

BTW, these same pols are lying low ....maybe running scared now....

I would not be surprised if the candidates confided in Donald about their sordid love life, spilled damaging opposition research WRT their opponents and damning stuff
about well-known pols-—in order to get bigger donations.

They/re wishing now they hadn’t said the things they did.......b/c Donald knows plenty.

He took the GOPee pill without thinking.

Mine got yanked so fast it had to have been by a bot. Your is still up so I think you are OK. I am just glad this got posted for everyone to see. Cruz was very foolish to insult 30 to 40% of the repubican base. It is obvious now the strategy is to suppress Trump turn out instead of trying to win new support for Cruz. insult attack Trump, insult Trump voters. Not a good plan IMHO.

Id rather be a lowfo than a lying dumbass. Not smart, Mr Goldman Sachs. Give Trump your best shot but dont insult the people youll need to vote for you if by some slim chance you win.
