I would not have "worked with Russia" (propped up Stalin). I would have had American and Allied troops attack Germany from the west with such force as to drive the German military before our troops eastward to battle the Russians. When the Russians and Germans had annihilated each other, we would have been finished with two menaces, leaving Tojo.

German high command was rumored to have offered to use their surviving troops towards the end of their war as a spearhead to drive the soviets out of Germany and out of neighboring nations. The Japanese high command, other than Tojo, was said to have made a similar offer to drive Stalin's forces back from China and the Ryukyu Islands by using surviving Japanese military as a spearhead from the East, but we just had to nuke Hiroshima and Nagasaki (originally intending to hit Osaka but for weather conditions) and this was after the far worse incendiary firebombing of Tokyo in retaliation for Pearl Harbor.

FDR was too busy coddling his good pal Stalin and, as a result, a couple of generations of Eastern Europeans were enslaved and the Russian people had to suffer as well.

As you apparently suspect, I most certainly did not vote for Moral Monster Mitt Romney (M3R) who is Obozo's brother by a different mother ideologically. You participate as you see fit. I have no obligation to follow you and M3R over Lemming Cliff.

The theory of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" is a sure loser that guarantees that civilization goes down the drain because many simply did not care to save it and made an endless series of compromises for lesser evils inevitably leading to the ultimate evil.

Poooooor baby!!!! You've been "race-baited!" How about the actual babies that have been dismembered and parted out by Planned Barrenhood ghouls seeking to sell the parts to afford their next Lamborghini. Or the Harvard business School Alumnus (an actual Mormon bishop to that faith's shame) who created a business to profit off disposition of the body parts of the murdered unborn before, with no legal warrant, he crammed "gay""marriage" down the throats of Massachusetts citizens and forced Romneycare on Massachusetts, every bit as mandatory and objectionable as Obozocare, including a REQUIREMENT that we Catholics subsidize abortion, sterilization and artificial birth control all of which violate our Faith. I don't know what your Faith may be, if any, but, as for me, persecute my religion and I persecute you back. I certainly will not VOTE FOR such trash as would dare to try. As non-Catholic Ted Cruz said of Obozo, when you are being sued by the Little Sisters of the Poor, you MUST be doing something wrong.

My principles, my Faith and my obligations to God are INFINITELY more important than your desire to draft my vote for a moral monster just because he is not the other moral monster.

What has brought this republic to the brink of extinction is GOP-E trash, trust fund babies who care about NOTHING else, enemies of ordinary American people (the ones who actually fight our wars not the perfumed privileged ones) and people incapable of placing their lives appropriately in a long-term matrix of history.

There is no point in your going on because you have not the sense to buy a clue. The arming of Iranian mullahs with nuclear weapons and ICBMs resulted not only from Obozo and Hillary being on auto-sellout mode 24/7/365 but also because the "Republican" leadership of Romney's pals like McConnell, Cornyn, Alexander, Cockroach, etc., set aside the plain provisions of the constitution requiring 2/3 Senate approval of treaties and reversing it in the special case of Obozo's arming Iran to require 2/3 to reject the treaty. Why???? Because the every present greedypig big business treasonweasels (like M3R) who own the souls of our dependably materialistic Congressional and Senate whores wanted to profit from selling to Iran an adequate supply of profitable rope with which they intend to hang us and Israel. And the Congress/Senate whores simply cave and say How High????

Your worthless little butt is hurt because the actual conservatives would not, in large numbers, join you in selling this country down the river to the Republican menaces rather than the Demonrat menaces. You didn't get your way. Waaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!! We did not vote FOR Obozo or FOR M3R. You voted FOR M3R. Explain that to God when the time comes.

Four more years of Arab Spring? Actually, that one was invented since the GOP-E threw the 2012 election by using their infernal special interest zillions to buy the nomination of M3R which GUARANTEED Demonrat victory. Leaving that aside, the situation in Egypt under Morsi is considerably better for Egyptian citizens of decent attitudes and aspirations than either Obozo's brothers in the Muslim Brotherhood or a rather dismal continuation of Mubarak in brutal power, even if he tended to be our "friend" because we paid him off. Morsi is just as good a friend without the corruption. Qaddafi finally got his in Libya. Do we really miss him? He was another case of being arguably a smidgeon better than the anarchy that now reigns in Libya or whatever will replace that. None of these guys live forever on earth.

The quislings running European nations are what has created Europistan. First, they wanted free and easy birth control and abortion. Then their nations, and particularly Germany, suffered drastic population declines against expectations to the point where their economies cannot be sustained by a vanishing population of young people who aspire rather unanimously to higher education, white collar comfortable no sweat lives and then wake up to realize that they have no carpenters, plumbers, electricians, factories or factory workers to produce necessary goods and services. Those were jobs for OTHER folks not for privileged white gloved them. Many of the women (just like the men) want the luxuries affordable only by going into the workplace. Zipping around in a nice Mercedes convertible beats being stuck in a Toyota beater any time and also caters to their excessive pride. Raising children is dirty, messy, costs a fortune in lost income and expenses and status. Having kids is also someone else's job.

Sooooooo, these nations, on their own, and as part of the European Union, have opened the floodgates and the Middle East lunatics are pouring in. As a Catholic, I note that the mistake inflicted on the papacy and the Church by the most recent conclave is cheering on the Islamification of once Christian Europe. God is vanishing from the Catholic and other Christian churches of Europe and along with Him, civilization is vanishing. Neither Obozo nor M3R could have prevented the degeneracy of Europe and there is absolutely NO evidence that either would lift a finger to do so. Europe is led not by a Maggie Thatcher but by a new, non-baseball version of Bonehead Merkel.

The incoming Islamofascists will take serious advantage of European welfare state stupidity but will also provide some low-paid manual laborers to keep European national economies going long enough to become mirrors of Third World hellholes.

Finally, if you succeed in nominating the Manhattan Foulmouth for POTUS and I am presented with a choice between ANY Demonrat and Trump, I will cast my most reluctant vote ever (as things stand) for Trump, reserving the right to vote for Tom Hoefling again since he would be a far more principled POTUS than any of them. I will cast that vote in spite of you and certainly not because of you or others like you.

When Bill Buckley launched National Review and the modern conservative movement 61 years ago, he editorialized that it would "stand athwart the tides of history yelling STOP!" That standard never has changed and never will change whether you agree or not.

Yesterday corporate America, colleges, the UN, and the POTUS celebrated a 100+ year old Communist holiday.

The Rats expressed deep outrage that Senator McCarthy would question the patriotism of those in the State Department and US military.

Fast forward 50 years and we have big army brass protective of the Fort Hood shooter saying that it would be a BIGGER tragedy to impact the diversity of the US military than the massacre of over a dozen men, women, and children on a stateside US military base by a KNOWN traitor in the War on Terror.

The Democrat Party was marching to the left in the 19th century. It was solidly Socialist by FDR. Communist by the 1970s.

Much guilt? That really set you off. I know, I know, the truth hurts. The five stages are denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. You are clearly in the anger stage, hang tough you pillow biting finger pointing do nothing.

:-)

You are already negotiating with yourself to vote Trump, and as you see this great nation sunk in perversion and graft, I know the depression will come. But then will come the acceptance. Deploy the Trump Bomb...it must be used. It is the only hope. Deploy it now!

The anger and disappointment will disappear BlackElk. Jump on the Trump Train...it's our best chance!

I recommend to you, in parting, and in answer to your pathetic attempts at amateur psychiatry (a profession rooted in Freud's rebellion against God) the film The Hunt for Red October when, at the height of an underwater duel between USS Dallas, a fast attack sub and the defecting soviet astounding new technological nuclear submarine Red October and, on the other hand, a previous state of the art soviet attack sub sent to sink Red October, the soviet sub commander disables the safety mechanisms on a nuclear torpedo and then is outsmarted as that torpedo ten homes in on and sinks his own sub. The last words he hears are from another officer: "You arrogant ass! You have destroyed us!"

Internalize that scene as, if you are successful in your mindless political temper tantrum, you will understand that you and The Donald are disabling our society's and civilization's safety mechanisms and will allow Trump, an arrogant ass if ever there was one, to destroy us as a civilization, as a nation and as a movement (temporarily).

Then the soviet ambassador tells the Aercan defense secretary that, ummmm, the soviets have "lost" another submarine and might use our help in that search. Meanwhile, Red October is parked in a river in Maine and Marco Ramius and his officers enter the free world.

When you finish making a wreckage of your play pen, actual conservatives will still be here standing athwart history and yelling stop as we clean up your mess, as is traditional. At least you will enjoy the transitory emotional self-indulgence of spitting those Gerber's mashed peas all over those that feed you, house you, clothe you and change your diapers. You'll sure teach THEM a lesson!

BTW, that's is a well-chosen screen name. Quite descriptive!

OK, crazy Ivan.
On some things we don’t see eye to eye.
When you are ready, come to the Trump Side.

(1) That progression is well known to be real and needs no Freudianism to support it
(2) Glory be, you are today entering Acceptance. Amazing what a handful of months can do.

All it took was the recognition that it would be Trump or Hillary. Trump was not my choice to be GOP candidate. I preferred Scott Walker over the entire field but that candidacy died quickly. Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio would have been preferable. OTOH, Trump is proving to be a quite worthwhile candidate in his own right.

Another point I would make to purists is that we are mistaken to expect everything to rest on the new president’s shoulders. And thankfully this isn’t Donald’s model. Donald wants to make more room for the things that traditionally made the USA great, and Christendom just happens to be recognized by Donald as one of those things.

I find this really hard to complain about, but again I’m coming at this as a wascally evangelical, who expects that church gospel preaching (and gospel living) will fill such holes far better than Donald ever could do personally.

And we know there are areas where Donald will not have a forte. He’s not the best person in the world to philosophize on marital fidelity, obviously. On the other hand he’s not an unrestrained playboy like the prospective First Spouse, and is perfectly happy with jurists who would take a classic view of the topic as far as civil law is concerned. That might be the most eloquent thing Donald could do or say, given the circumstances. Donald isn’t running for bishop of the USA.

I’m hanging tight here. Donald could be part of a door open to many blessings.
