A year ago today, I came out of the undocumented closet. I revealed in an article that I had been undocumented for over a decade, including some of the years I spent climbing the corporate ladder at Goldman Sachs.
By the time I was 27 years old, I was a vice president, at arguably, the most prestigious investment bank in the world. I had seemingly achieved the American Dream and yet, I was not legally part of the country I love. The only country I truly know. After watching the film "Documented," I was inspired to share my story to help shift the conversation around immigration and what it means to be American. The story went viral. My life was changed forever as a result of sharing my story.
However, nothing else has really changed. In fact, the conversation around immigrants and the broader Latino community has never been more mired in political gamesmanship, filled with hatred and bigotry, resulting in absolutely nothing.

So then, (whom ever you are), either you committed fraud by lying to Goldman Sachs while you worked there or they committed fraud on your behalf. I’m sure that violates their corporate honesty policy in some way at the very least not to mention state and federal laws.

She is average at best and if they are illegal then they have broken the law.
It is people like her who seem to not understand or get it. The law is the law end of.
If they want to stay here then they have to go back home. Get in line, pay a fine, back taxes SS etc and then apply for a visa.

This is no victim and we are not cold hearted and uncaring by wanting to have a country defined by its borders.

Goldman-Sachs and most every globalist company has many officers who are not citizens. So what does her being at GS have anything to do with the topic.... except to mis-direct the reader from relevant facts and logic.
All sides in the immigration debate do this. They bring up irrelvant and untrue facts to support their agenda.

I hope he will be deported on January 20, 2017. If he self-deports first, I’m okay with him applying for legal entry. Otherwise, he should be deported, imprisoned if he reenters illegally, and barred from any path to legal entry forever.
It’s not about whether he’s productive - he sounds like the sort of person we would want if he also respected the law. It’s not about whether we like Hispanics - I do, including my many Hispanic relatives. It’s about whether we will have laws that are followed. I want fewer laws but all of the ones we have to be enforced.
