This writer is so clever. He knows what I think and even what I feel! Then when I recoil with indignation at his words, I find he has even predicted that I would do that!
It’s then when I realize the writer has cleverly trapped me in a logical circle of my own making by saying I must admire him and love him for insulting me and calling me stupid and a liar, since as a Trump supporter, I admire and live people who do that! Wow! He really trapped me - how does he know me so well?
It seems like the more he heaps insults on Trump and upon me, the more I have to admire him and love him and realize how hateful and stupid I am. He is making me realize that if I don’t agree with him I am stupid and evil.
What a yuge pile of manure this article is...
And then all the anti Trump comments: “He is so wise, so ironic, so right!” “Trump supporters are so stupid they can’t even read the whole thing”.
The only reason I read the whole thing is because I was mildly impressed that the writer could stretch out a faulty premise over that many logical fallacies and non-sequiturs, and wrap it up in so many layers of arrogant presumption.

Attack or defend? You had questioned whether someone was a paid poster. So I wondered why you would think that because most people have been here since before the election. I was just pointing out that you have just joined and the only criteria we have for the possibility of being a paid supporter is length of time on FR. Freepers are generally pretty passionate about things. You will love it once the election is over, especially the humor. I really miss the humor.
While FR is the most politically conservative forum and does have some politicians and radio talk show hosts come here to see what gets the biggest hits (I would presume) we are actually just preaching to the choir.
If I can I respond to the original source where the general public attends. That’s where hearts and minds are converted. It doesn’t take long for Freepers to decide what they think is right because we are generally over 30 and many over 50. People over 50 have all that history to access. Gut feeling from personal experience.
You will also find that people who disagree with you on one issue will be a cohort on another. Many here are pro-life from conception. The most important issue in the world.

Ah, I think you haven’t seen the responses on pro-Cruz articles. :) It has lessened but “nopardons” is one of those who is relentless. I miss all the other threads that have merit, too, that are not being posted. Sometimes I wish the web layout was little different. But until I start my own, I will stay loyal.
I go with the stupid theory. If you support a guy who has proven over the course of decades that he is a statist liberal simply because of rush you get when he insults someone who hurts your feelings, you’re pretty damn stupid.

If your IQ was sufficient you would understand that Trump holds you in even more contempt than I do. Trump for his entire life has been a progressive Statist. He is also a conman who knows how to mirror your emotions, but will deliver on none of the pledges that he began making about 120 days ago.

Most of the “natural born citizen” stuff comes from zeros who know they are zeros and thus try to become something better by pretending that others have a lessor status because they were not born in America.
