Cruz clearly said in the debate that waterboarding is enhanced interrogation, not torture. He said maybe torture could be used at highest level in some imminent danger. He also said he would listen to the military on the fight with ISIS and not nation build.

Let’s clarify one thing: It’s a total urban myth that torture doesn’t work; it works quite well. Ask anyone who was in the Hanoi Hilton. COL Leroy Stutz, a POW in Vietnam for over six years, was the commandant of my SERE class. He told us - and I paraphrase - “..you’ll break, we all did.”

I don’t understand the point of your question. What difference, at this point, does it make? She should be serving a life sentence for the email server setup alone.
