CatherineofAragon was an active, very pro-Cruz FReeper who suddenly went quiet. I'd had only one exchange with her and while we ended up with different preferences, she was most gracious. I noted she wasn't around for the IA caucus nor tonight for the NH primary.
Does anyone know CatherineofAragon personally? Is she all right?
I did a search; her last posts were January 24.
Without a real-world contact, sometimes FReepers go quiet and are never heard from again, and we don't know what happened.
Some of the pro-Cruz people were driven off.
I believe she returned to Middle Earth.

I would guess she is much like me. This board has fallen greatly. It is no longer a discussion board , but a ridicule board. News from left wing sites, language from potty mouth politicians. I can’t even begin to say how low it has fallen.

The cognitive dissonance suffered by the Cruzers, along with the TDS, can end only one way, and that’s bad. A brain cannot hold two distinct and diametrically opposed ideas at one time. It will drive you crazy.

Come to think of it, many times I’ve take a few weeks or months off for a break and nobody noticed or cared... but whatever. We’ll all rally around COA. That’s cool. Sure she’s a good person, but whatever.
Got diagnosed with Lupus last week while I was quiet, but - you know - COA is so important.
Seriously do hope that she’s all right, but I’ve never seen a ‘is Marie okay?’ post. Ever. Took two months off to detox myself off prescription pain meds and didn’t get a reach out. Took a month off to cope with thyroid cancer. Took four months off after surgery when I broke my back.
Not one, “Does anyone know how Marie is doing?” post.
Just feelin’ the luv, people. You’d think that after 16 years *somebody* would care if you went ‘dark’, but whatevers...
No worries.
(And yes. That was humor. People ‘go dark’ all of the damn time for a thousand reasons. Sometimes they’re actually busy working on a wedding. Crap happens. FR is lovely, but it’s not the center of the freaking universe. If it were, then people would actually notice the old timers dropping like flies.)
