From the Marx Brothers to The Simpsons, Richard Pryor to Amy Schumer: 100 bits, sketches, and one-liners that changed humor forever.

It hijacked my browser for the past five minutes. Just barely able to back out.
This is where someone posts “I have super-cyber-condom anti-malware and I never have that problem.”
My reply isn’t printable. :-)
Anyway Sam Kinnison (It’s sand! Go where the food is!) and Norm MacDonald (’So, O.J., why do you say your kids won’t have a good mother’s day?’ ‘Duh! I killed their mother!’) should be on any list of remarkable comedians.
Mark Simone posted a link last week , but I also could not access the page.
They must know what they’re talking about here — they included the infamous Dave Chappelle “Clayton Bigsby” character in that list. LMAO.
Agreed! Kinison was a wickedly funny guy, and Norm McDonald is very under-rated. Admittedly, Norm’s comedy style isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m a big fan.
That’s my best guess.
AdBlock Plus. Why aren’t you running it?
MacDonald, talking about the Andes plane crash: “We’re going on a vacation to get away for a while. Yes, make sure to give us the ricketiest plane you have. Oh, and make sure it goes over a mountain range!”
See? See?? :-)
A very good list overall, though I think the funny falls off a cliff from the Lena Dunham entry on. Especially Tina Fey Politics aside, I just have never found Tina Fey the least bit entertaining.
Good to see Carol Burnett make the list. She really was a ground-breaker for a lot of female comedians. I didn’t like every bit she did on her show (to this day, the “mama’s family” skits make my fillings ache), but she could be incredibly funny when she was on, and without resorting to gross-out humor.
some of these are not comedians but characters.
Agree on Lena Dunham. But Tina Fey, who became head writer at SNL and then wrote 30 Rock, is, IMO, among the finest comedy writers working today.
Take my wife...Please....
Sammy: “YOU LIVE IN A FU%%%%G DESERRRRRRRRT!!! NOTHING IS GONNA GROW HERE! WE HAVE DESERTS IN OUR COUNTRY WE JUST DON’T LIVE IN ‘EM A&&HOLE!!! OH-OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”!
Elmer Fudd [to the tune of Wagnerâs âRide of the Valkyriesâ]: âKill the Wabbitâ
That Black dude looks like Jermaine Jackson.
That’s not saying much. Scarface ain’t funny at all.
No Larry Miller’s “Five Levels of Drinking”?
Kinnison: America is a great country! Ronald Reagan is president, and Clint Eastwood has his own police force!
Where’s Buddy Hackett?
might get flamed, but the guy 4th from right is NOT funny.
