What was with player #1 in blue uniform wagging his head and acting like he was in some sort of drug trance?

I couldn't figure that out either. I did a quick search, hoping to find a video without him in it, but he was in all of them.

I looked up the Panthers roster. His name is Cam Newton, and he is a quarterback. And, also, a non-patriotic jerk,IMO.
