Bloomberg will proudly pick up the mantle. Plugs wouldn’t have a chance and the faux indian can’t help him.

I am not so sure. Demos might would lose some loyal feminist Hillary supporters. Hillary would not go without a bloodbath.

I think it’s going to change too. Hillary will get the Petraeus treatment. She’s dead meat. Lieden will run and Bloomberg. It’ll be either Lieden or the commie unless the commie goes independent all against Trump or Cruz.

I've been saying this all along. It is a good strategy, actually. Hillary takes all the slings and arrows for a year, then drops out and someone comes in as a white knight to save the party. There is a big bump for that person from the democrat faithful, and he/she has not been the target of negative ads for months on end. Slow Joe is the most obvious choice, but there are other alternative out there-- McCaskill for one. She and Hillary hate each other since old Claire was one of the first to go for Obama in 08. She's clean and articulate. But it could be horseface, too.

Whatever it is, Obama is behind it and he has a plan. Everyone knows that shrieking Hillary can't win, and neither can Sanders. So they are plotting, waiting to spring the email problem and get her to quit, with or without an indictment.

I think the pressure from the intelligence community will be intense. Whether she gets indicted O don’t know but she will be toast politically. Biden / Warren will be dim ticket.

Big problem for Democrats supporting Hillary is the Millennial vote, they won't come out for her if she is the nominee.

They might combine the ticket with Sander's being the VP.

Hi GeorgiaDawg32,

I’ve believed this for some time. Hillary will be unavailable due to health or criminal legal issues. Sanders will be spurned by the Democrats - he is a registered Independent Socialist, after all.

I’ve thoughtfully posed that the ‘Rats will nominate Biden, Kerry, or Gore.

I would think Kerry would be the favorite because of his age.

But, opinions are like a**holes; everyone has one.

I think it will be Sanders. Between Hillary’s problems and liberals love of “free” stuff...I think he wins the nomination.

The DEMs can substitute at any time up until the electoral ballots are transmitted to Congress. The decision of the nominating convention is not final.

I forget his name, but the dead governor of Missouri was elected to Congress, and his wife, who never stood for election, was sent and accepted.

The Dems will wait for the last minute so Joe can't be attacked for months, but maybe weeks (or days).

What do you think? <<

That's been a guess of mine for awhile now....ol’ Gaff a minute Joe couldn't campaign any length of time without alienating every corner of the Dem party and making a fool of himself....But if he were drafted at a deadlocked convention (see Garfield nomination) the MSM and all the Dems would rally behind him ......Knight on a white horse...unite the party....VP experience...Dem values...yada-yada-yada...it's not that far fetched IMHO

“Sanders is way too far left for the Democrats.”

You might be right but I’m not 100% sure ANYONE is too far left.

The deadline to be on the Primary ballot has already passed in many States and is coming up quick in many more. True, they could try to convince Hillary to drop out at the convention and nominate someone else there, but the Republicans would eat the Democrats alive on that move. It would be a 72 type landslide again.

The Democrats have worked themselves into a corner, and now they either have to run Clinton or Sanders.

After Obama was elected in 2012, I was witness to a conversation by two lifelong democrat, highly active union coworkers. The jist of it was that the unions will not support Hillery. Not the union leadership, the rank and fill will not support Hillery. Hillery is unelectable.
