if you watch Godzilla from the beginning he grew as the height of the buildings in Tokyo grew so he was always taller. they build this and he is going to be huge.

Hiya Chode! Before Ret. building these suckers was my gig. 75 floors was my personal ‘high’ lol!! The common response to another worker casually asking you in passing, “Howzit going?” was “D.L.D. Baby”, (Don’t Look Down!!! And you learned that little trick fast as a young apprentice, and It really worked to help with the fear.) This Jap 1 mile high ‘skraper is going to be one heck of a project....if it even ‘gets out of the hole’. wait and see I guess. The Burj is still my favorite looking Tower of the newer designs.

“I could barely stand having 5 neighbors in one building — let alone 55,000.”

I could live like that if the building was horizontal.

There is no way on earth anyone could get me to go that high———and God bless the guys who have to construct it.

hey Bobby good to see ya,

never worked one but have been both of the twin towers, north to eat and south for the observation deck

iirc they had a sway of six feet from the center line

can't even imagine what a mile high would do

and agree 100% on the Burj
