Schlafly unloads on Rubio: 'He betrayed us all'

In 2009, Marco Rubio was a plucky challenger for the open Senate in Florida, taking on incumbent Republican Gov. Charlie Crist. Though Rubio was trailing in the polls, one leading conservative activist thought that he had real potential and vowed to help him.

“When Marco Rubio ran for the Senate in Florida, I think I was the first one to endorse him,” said Phyllis Schlafly. “I made a trip down to Florida in 2009 just for the purpose of helping him.”

But Schlafly, a legendary conservative activist, author, and WND columnist, now says she is bitterly disappointed by Rubio’s record once he got what he wanted.

“Once he got elected, he betrayed us all,” she told WND. “He said he was against amnesty and against the establishment. And once he got in, right away, he became an agent of the establishment. And now of course he’s big for amnesty and letting all the illegal immigrants in. He betrayed us a number of times on that issue.”

Schlafly said she was startled at the magnitude of Rubio’s “betrayal” on amnesty.

“It was so public,” she said.

Seems like lots of so call republicans are deceived by illegal and unlawful border crossers who flaunt the law, much like the democrats.

Rubio is evil-—a puppet. Schlafley is the Real Deal, always was. She couldn’t be bought ever. Her word should be gospel to whomever wants truth.

Rubio proved he had no morals when he got picked up hanging in the sodomite orgy “park”-—exactly like the personality of bathhouse barry.

Rush is part of the Hegelian Dialectic. Schlafly has given her life for conservative causes and NEVER wavered. Rush has allowed the balloon of the Conservative “movement” that Schlafly almost single-handedly started to get numerous pin-pricks CONTINUALLY, so to prevent a much needed Conservative Revolution which is 20 years overdue.

How could we EVER get to a point where Just Law calls two males sodomizing each other “marriage’. It is INSANITY—complete removal of Objective Truth and God’s Laws from our “Justice (virtue) System-—complete toppling of Reason and Just Law (The Constitution). (crickets from Rush). TWILIGHT ZONE now -—all brought to us by people like “Rush”.

Cruz is a Constitutional scholar NOT a conservative with populist principles. Sell Americans out on trade, immigration with lawyer like side stepping when challenged. Rubio as bad or worse, just slicker.

Please do not be fooled by these first generation imports. They lack the spirit of the founding fathers.

Then, of course, there's always the final option which is for the people of the United States to take their government back by civil disobedience.

It hasn't been tried.   Think about how effective the Black Lives Matter people have been in getting attention.   And they are wet behind the ears college students.

Think of the original Boston Tea Party.   It may come to that option.

trump’s donations helped elect Dems to political office. Those Dems then put in policies Schlafly fought against.

Donations have consequences

I read today that various conservative organizations rate Senators for their reliability as a conservative vote. Rubio scored 98% on one, and in the 90’s in another. The Senate average for Republicans was in the 60% range.

So the complaint must be that Rubio doesn’t agree with the most conservative among us on every issue all the time. And therefore we vote for Trump? Trump has no conservative track record AT ALL.

Trump's donations

Were to PACs, not to the candidates directly.

Those Dems then put in policies Schlafly fought against.

Those policies were already in existence thanks to RINOs who reached across the aisle to help the Dems implement them for the last 60 years. Again, Trump was never in political office where he helped these policies become law. And Trump's donations were more about helping NYC and the state than about implementing leftism nationally.

I both disagree and agree.   Cruz certainly has the spirit with the good work he's done in the Senate fighting the GOPe and DemoRATS.

But being a Constitution scholar doesn't mean he's a follower of the Constitution, at least when it comes to qualifications for President.

Now Rubio is a guy who's told us flat out -- I'm quitting the Senate if I don't get to be President.   Lots of commitment there...  He's never held a private industry job in his life, but he says, "I have the expeeeeerience to be leader of the biggest economy in the world."

And I'm not knocking youth.   Take a guy like John F. Kennedy: he fought in World War II and gained the experience of a lifetime with PT-109.  He paid his dues.  And Rubio?  He can't even pay off his Florida legislator credit card debt.

Ah, but donor money talks!

Rubio is a douchebag.

The Oligarchy is presenting this degenerate VULTURE lawyer who never had a real job in his life as a viable POTUS candidate.

Meanwhile , he still has a window to run for Senate after losing the POTUS primaries and WILL DEFINITELY go back on his word and run for his seat again.

Heard it here first.

You do realize that Cruz, as much as he is the bees knees, is doing nothing to address his eligibility problem.

If he is eligible being born in Canada, then Obama is eligible being born in Kenya.

Chew on that for a while and enjoy this video:

...TWILIGHT ZONE now — all brought to us by people like Rush.

Yes, I am beginning to believe too that Rush is tainted.   Probably being wined and dined by the Apple and Silicon Valley guys who favor the Cheap Labor Express.

The most consistent radio jock on illegal immigration has been Michael Savage.   "Borders, language, culture".

Levin hates Savage's guts, of course, which makes me question Levin's true motives.  Is he out to fight the good fight, or does he just want to get rich hawking Stamps.com and Gold Line?

Sounds like we need a revolution on the conservative radio side too.   They are rich and not transparent, and they help each other maintain their monopoly on commentators we can listen to.  We need a greater diversity of people to listen to.   We need new blood.   Rush needs to take a vacation more often and let other people speak and be heard.

They should really rotate.   I'd love to hear Mark Steyn once a week if he'd do it.   In eastern Pennsylvania, all we can get is Rush, Hannity, Levin, and Savage.
