Skyscrapers, also have a construction cost problem. Above 10 or 20 floors, costs go up geometrically. According to Trump in “Art of the deal”. Of course that was written in 1987, and I’m sure construction techniques have improved since then.

The Pentagon is a perfect fit within the circle? What are the odds? I wouldn't be surprised but if the architect didn't have the scale in mind, but avoided the pentagon shape purposefully. Steve Jobs said he wanted an infinite circle shape for a reason, though.
