Perhaps the most significant general election news from last night in Iowa that's not being reported:
According to ABC News, more than 180,000 Republican Iowans voted in the first 2016 caucus, compared to the previous record of only 121,000 people in 2012.
Early Tuesday morning, the Iowa Democratic Party announced that 171,109 Iowans participated in its caucuses. That's a fall from 2008, which saw 239,000 Iowans vote in the Democratic caucuses throughout the state.
The number of voters that are up for Republicans is almost the same as the one down for Dems.
The poor Dims. Choose a com or con.
This does not bode well for the Marxist party next November, up or down ticket.
Reverse Operation Chaos, perhaps?
But that means nothing, because Rubio won and IOWA means nothing... /sarc
Ok got that out of the way for the rest of the thread.
TED CRUZ WON the others lost.
VOTE TED CRUZ!!
I fear that, once again, it won't matter all that much in terms of restoring the Constitution. The GOP is infested with statists as well, not to mention the heavily entrenched federal bureaucrats' leftist bias.
It’s nonsense. Hillary walks straight to the white house, never being behind for more than a stray day here or there throughout the entire season.
So much for , "Cheaters never win."
AGREED ... with the Rubio vote as a measure
Delegate count: Cruz 8, Trump 7, Rubio 7. Cruz won 1 extra delegate.
I’d say the most significant result was Democrat dirty tricks (we’ve seen this one before in Iowa). They withheld the results for 5% of the precincts to hold Hillary in first place until after the news had beat Iowa to death. Then, once we’ve moved on, they’ll release the results from those strongly pro-Bernie caucus sites.
Hillary “won” by 0.2%. That’s the news, and the Democrat establishment is sticking to it. For as long as they can claim “unavoidable delays”.
The butthurt is amazing.
Rubio was probably the biggest winner here. He was trailing enough such that he wouldn’t have had 7 deligates according to the “polls”.
If some polling group were to re-poll Iowa I’ll bet Trump would once again be at the top. I also believe Sanders won last night.
All things being equal, if ABC is telling the truth ... the party(s) showed up in their respective percentages
I have said many times in the past year, the dems are not in this race ... they see the writing on the wall ... we're pissed off enough we just MIGHT revolt against Washington
Just say the words, " ... and I'm ARMED" ... and try as they might, they can't get my gun (Really .. I have only one ... a .22 ... and it jams a lot), so they scramble to pass laws that are supposed to put up a wall of protection from a bullet
Bullets can't read ... and if that puts fear in the hearts of socialists and democrats ... it's just fair play turnabout for the fear they try to instill in US, the American people
Wouldn’t hurt to repost that graphic a few more dozen times today, to counter the 50 times yesterday that I had to stomach that bus in the mud one.
Slogan of both Donald Trump and Charlie Sheen.
