Though often under-reported in the mainstream media, pro-life advocates who protest outside of abortion centers often are targets of harassment and sometimes violence.
On Wednesday in Arizona, pro-life protesters were targeted by a man and his two teenage children in a drive-by incident, according to 12 News in Phoenix.
Police arrested 34-year-old David Turner after he allegedly had his 14-year-old daughter use a squirt gun to spray tomato juice from his car onto pro-lifers standing outside a Tempe Planned Parenthood abortion clinic, the report states.
According to authorities, the father bought a water gun and tomato juice on Wednesday morning and then drove to Planned Parenthood with his 14-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son. An unnamed friend also was in the car, according to police.
Police said they tracked down Turner based on the license plate number that pro-lifers saw on his vehicle. Authorities reported finding the water gun and tomato juice in Turnerâs home.

âIt sounds like this was just a prank he was doing, we donât know if he was trying to make a political statement or statement against the protesters,â said Lt. Michael Pooley with the Tempe Police Department.
Pro-life advocates told ABC 15 that they originally thought the liquid was fecal matter. Galye Peters, one of the pro-life advocates, said the teen pointed the squirt gun at her and laughed.
Turner was arrested and is charged with disorderly conduct and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, the report states. News reports indicate that his teenage daughter also faces charges for misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct and his son faces charges of disorderly conduct in juvenile court.
Abortion advocates often try to portray themselves as victims by talking to the media about abortion clinic violence; however, pro-lifers are often targets of violence by the abortion industry and its supporters. In September 2015, police arrested a man after he pulled a gun on a pro-life protester outside of an abortion clinic in Aurora, Illinois, LifeNews reported.
The harassment and violence has not stopped dedicated pro-life groups from continuing to stand outside abortion clinics daily and offer women and their babies an escape from the violence of abortion.
Sounds like a criminal conspiracy to me.

Tomato juice is an acid, while not as caustic as battery acid.
Well, I’m glad the cops followed up on this. Pro-abortionists usually get away with everything they do to peaceful anti-abortion protestors, including assault, so I’m actually a little surprised.
The other question is why he wanted to force his 14 year old daughter to be out there aggressively supporting abortion...is there something he’d like to discuss - or to hide?
A man who had his first child at 18 and the second two years later: not a loving message he is sending those children now - hate those who would have objected to you being aborted.
This could easily be considered a terrorist threat.
Driving by a group of people, lowering and sticking a gun out the window. In a split second, how would the people on the street know it was a squirt gun.
Tbis waz a attempt to mimic a drive by shooting - trying to intimidate people from expressong their constitutional rights.
Throw the book at them
“This could easily be considered a terrorist threat......”
Ban all water guns and Tomato Juice!
Being sprayed by an unknown substance is tantamount to having one’s person, potentially mortally, violated (castle doctrine) and appropriate force may be used, back .
And yelling “fire” in a crowded theater is always good for a chuckle - and a perfectly legal act of free speech too.
Right? After all, there was no fire.
Sure, no problem, just a joke. And once they realize no one will punish them for that, what is the next thing they put in the water gun. Maybe a little HIV positive blood from a homosexual friend?
Once you start allowing attacks, no matter how juvenile, someone always ups the ante.
Sick.
Had the rolls been reversed the entire family would be facing federal “hate crimes” (ridiculous on it’s own) violations, felony assault, and every other felony Lynch could throw at them. They would be facing decades in federal prison.
There's murder of babies going on there. Cops often beat and torture pro-life activists. This is nothing and those teens need prayers, not a record. Real pro-lifers aren't going to be frightened by petty vandalism.
Is it just me or is this exactly backward? They are the ones covered in blood.
I disagree. The father and the children need to have records. To allow such acts without legal repercussion is to promote such acts.
We cannot be under the rule of law if the law chooses sides.
“his is nothing and those teens need prayers, not a record.”
A little time in reform school would not hurt them. turns abouts fair play.
a real easy way to get into trouble with the law
Classy.
