Consider the following:
- The Democrats have no viable candidates, and one very well may be indicted
- The Republican Party is imploding/being made irrelevant by Trump
- The country has no borders
- The Middle East and North Africa are in chaos
- Fox News and many conservative pundits have lost respect of their audiences
- Europe is being fundamentally changed by an Islamic invasion, and is tilting toward civil war
- The "Pope" has more interest in Palestinians than he does Catholics
- The world economy is as shaky today as it was in 2008
Any other seismic shifts that I missed?

I am worried about the same things you are. I am anxious about them. They are civilization upsetting such as the Muslim immigration invasion of Europe aided and abetted by their elites. This seems like mental derangement to people like you and me.
HOWEVER you omitted economic factors that are going to make all of the above worse. It looks as though we are headed into another deflation and recession like we had late 2008-2009-2010 etc. It will probably be worse this time around. Oil, grains and other commodities are in collapse and this is just starting to spread to the stock market though the PTB might find a way to prop up the stock market as the real US economy takes a dive through bankruptcies and unemployment.

The higher in this list have the most affect on your life but you have the most control over. It would be nice to save the world but we can all save our home - i can live in a tent the middle of nowhere if needed. If everyone saves their own home the world wont need saving. Start at home and move down the list both in effort and concern
We will miss the days of calling and being called names like libtard, rethuglican, racists, moonbat, DUmmie, Freeptard, Trumpster, Cruzbot, and the list goes on. Nothing hunger and fear of plundering hordes to put important things back into perspective.
