FBI sources say decision on charging Hillary Clinton with a crime could come at any time

The Clinton investigation has been the elephant in the room during the Democratic presidential primary process, with audiences wondering if the former first lady could be charged with misconduct.

Despite a declaration from Clinton's closest rival, Sen. Bernie Sanders - in a nationally televised debate - that Americans are 'sick and tired of reading about your damn emails' - the cloud of prosecution has hung over Clinton's campaign since early last year.

'It does give pause to Democrats who are concerned that there may be another shoe to drop down the road,' Andrew Smith, a political scientist at the University of New Hampshire, told The Hill.

Currently - because Clinton's emails as secretary of state from 2009 to 2013 are still being processed - more than 1,300 emails have been deemed classified that were processed through the server, although some of those classifications may have been retroactive.

Clinton herself has maintained no wrong-doing, and neither the FBI nor the Justice Department would comment to The Hill.

I hope Huma goes down with her.. Wait. Let me rephrase that!

One can only imagine what the FBI has learned, reading all those emails Hillary THOUGHT she had deleted.. Hehehe.. Was Benghazi attacked BECAUSE the bad guys were reading her server emails and discovered that she essentially stripped Ambassador Stevens of his security? Were they reading emails from Stevens, BEGGING for security? Is THAT why Benghazi was attacked?

Realistically speaking, I would think they would want to get on with it. They probably have a lot of charges they could bring already.

The State Dept. hasn’t even handed over all of the e-mails that have been requested, so I seriously doubt the FBI is ready to go forward with a recommendation to indict beast woman. The most damaging e-mails are probably the last ones to be turned in. The State Dept. tried to use the snowstorm in DC as a plausible excuse to bargain for more time before they have to turn in the e-mails.

I still maintain it’s a law of nature that bad things don’t happen to the Clintons. I would love to be wrong but there’s so much history and evidence to support my hypothesis.

Nah...more likely a mansion close to Obummer’s purported mansion in Dubai...no extradition. How will she do without her booze, though. But the burkas could hide her figure flaws.

Waiting, and waiting, and waiting. I don’t think it will happen. I think she is too powerful and ruthless to let it happen.

Wow, she looks soooo bad and used up in this picture, and is even wearing makeup. How does she manage to look so much better on her TV appearances?

...charging Hillary Clinton with a crime could come at any time

It's expected to happen sometime before (or during perhaps) the next time glaciers cover much of North America.

Agree. The FBI and DOJ can take as long as they want - hold this over the Dem’s heads.

I’m told that there is an unwritten policy in DOJ not to indict a pol during an election year.
