Love or hate Dilbert/Scott Adams, this is a brilliant analysis.

I will predict two things:

First, if Ted Cruz simply states that he supports Donald J Trump, at tonight’s debates and then walks off the stage, he ends up second with maybe 25% of the vote.

Second, If Ted Cruz stays for the debate, he comes in under 10% and kills himself politically.

Ted Cruz should have heeded Donald’s advice and gotten a Supreme Court Ruling that he is a national born citizen, that would have left the door open for him to be VP, but now, with that and by staying at tonight s Donald Bash Festival, he closes that door too and destroys his aspirations to be Governor of Texas.

I also love Dilbert and was delighted when I read an earlier article by Scott Adams about Donald Trump.

Dilbert Creator: Trump 'Bitch Slapped' the Entire GOP Establishment

So Trump’s scared of a bimbo? He only skips out on something when the odds aren’t in his favor. Sometimes you have to attempt to solve problems when the odds aren’t in your favor. There’s not always an easy win. The odds are against America on the world stage. Will Trump capitulate on important problems just to make it look like a win? I think his narcissism makes him fear from ever losing and that’s a fatal flaw for a President.

Admit it, you already think the competition on the Republican side has narrowed to Trump versus Trump. If he stumbles, he loses. If he doesn't, he wins.

Sigh.

Yes, I admit it.

Unfortunately, waiting for Trump to stumble has been Ted Cruz's strategy all along. Clearly Cruz is the superior candidate, but his campaign has chosen old tactics of touting himself and then using negative attacks. Donald Trump is an expert populist and a celebrity who has controlled and defined this election cycle. Cruz wins the battles, but Trump owns the battlefield.

A good analysis but I still support Cruz and I resent these outrageous claims that Trump is: fascist, and a little bit of Hitler too.

Awesome analysis. I agree, Trump is a master of the art of manipulation.

In the last debate Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio had to explain to poor Donald what a Tariff is.

That’s why he doesn’t want to do the debate, so he doesn’t get schooled again on national TV while peddling fiction.

But, that being said, Trump is good at turning disadvantage to advantage. A con man very good at game theory.
