“Google and Fox announced Tuesday afternoon that an anti-Trump Muslim advocate, Nabela Noor, would be allowed to play a role in the debate. She was apparently chosen by Youtube, with help from the RNC and Fox. African American, Mark Watson, and Latino, Dulce Candy will also join the moderators in the debate to ask the candidates a question on an issue that matters to them and their communities.”

Trump did the right thing to avoid the Fox ambush set-up.
I don’t get why, of all potential Muslim interrogators like Zhudi Jasser, they invited this organization to this venue. Although it should be, is Islam really the #1 issue most Iowa Republicans are going to vote on? And if evangelicals drive Iowa Republican politics, the threat of Islam should have been front and center earlier. This is beginning to look like a FNC set-up and I hate to admit it, Trump may be onto something. At least it is forcing people to look more critically at yet another media outlet. One that had previously seemed conservative by comparison with other options.....
In the last debate Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio had to explain to poor Donald what a Tariff is.
That’s why he doesn’t want to do the debate, so he doesn’t get schooled again on national TV while peddling fiction.
But, that being said, Trump is good at turning disadvantage to advantage. A con man very good at game theory.
The Muslim thing is a softball for Trump - I have misgivings about Trump, but between him and a whiney non-assimilating immigrant, I’ll take Trump. I don’t know this Noor but if (s)he plays the grievance card, I’ll miss The Donald not whacking it out of the park.
Generally, I find those questions from the schmucks they put on to be cringe-worthy - time to grab a beer and/or go to the can, or switch channels to catch Big East college hoops on Fox Sports 1. Hoya Saxa!
Great article. Insights about Trump and helpful personal advice. Thanks for posting.
