It seems like the people who dominated the discussions today especially were very critical of Mr. Trump and sympathetic to Sen. Cruz.

I'm not surprised by that. Those who support Trump have little reason to yell and scream, as their guy is bulldozing a path to the White House and leaving the rest in his dust. They're at peace.

Conversely, Cruz supporters see that their guy is running a distant second, with little hope of catching up. They're gonna be pissed about that, when their perception is that many of their fellow conservatives have wrongly chosen, and have given the lead to Trump.

What astounds me, is that so many in the angry crew fail to understand that those who support Trump, have done the due diligence expected of a conservative patriot, and have chosen Trump as the best man for the job.

The thing that astounded me was the fury of the attacks against Sarah and Bristol Palin. I believe that her views are very similar to most of those here. I believe that she is a very intelligent, thoughtful, good person who has been through the fire and would take her endorsement far more seriously than most. She knows both Trump and Cruz personally and very well. Her understanding of the two of them has to be much more thorough than any of us who have no actual relationship with either and whose knowledge of them is based on what we have read, heard, or seen on Television. To me it was very disturbing that instead of respecting her judgment they went on the attack.

Further, many of the Trump supporters were Cruz supporters at one time but were turned off. I left over TPA. Others have left since.

I agree with your comments. I made my own that favor Trump.

Those things being said, I want Cruz folks to participate. Give Trump a run for first place.

I didn’t establish the FR Caucus to bolster Trump’s standing. I thought Cruz might come in first.

I enforce the rules rigidly on both camps. I give the same breaks to both camps.

If someone writes “Cruz” or “Trump”, I give them “Vote Cruz” or “Vote Trump”. I shouldn’t, but I do.

If someone writes “Vote Name.”, I let it slide. If someone votes “Vote Name!”, I don’t.

I don’t want anything in the thread that smacks of competition other than “Vote Cruz” or “Vote Trump”.

If folks can’t conform to that, don’t blame me for having the vote nullified.

Folks, anything written on the thread other than a link to this Caucus open discussion thread, is forbidden. And one of those is enough. Each day I have to disqualify notes because someone voted properly, then posted comments to the thread.

I have to apply the rules evenly, so I disqualify their vote.

Know the rules folks. Abide by them. I WANT to count your vote.

How do you think it makes me feel, to have someone thank me for running the Caucus, them voting for Trump, then causing me to have to disqualify their otherwise valid vote?

The FR Caucus thread is a vote only thread.

If I don’t make that stipulation, soon it would be just another thread with people arguing on it.

It’s a vote thread only.

Both sides have missed this at times. I don’t want to cancel anyone’s vote, but I do cancel them when the rules are not adhered to.

I appreciate very much those who are participating. I appreciate it a whole lot more when they abide by the rules.

A successful effort with many people participating, is thanks enough to me.

For the record, I want both sides to vote. I won’t be threatened by Trump losing. This is an expression of our voting power, and I want it to be reflective of the overall consensus here.

Please, if you have a candidate, vote!

Thanks again WindFlier.
