Yay! Obama’s Executive Orders Make It Easier To Get Machine Guns (and silencers)
Bearing Arms ^ | 1/5/16 | Bob Ownes

Unable to ram his attacks on the Second Amendment through Congress, a bitter Barack Obama has been reduced to pushing his Executive Branch powers to the the breaking point with a series of “executive orders” that the White House finally outlined last night.

They range from open lies, to empty threats, to harassment, to a few things that might actually be very beneficial to some gun owners, to a Orwellian scheme that could get many law enforcement officers and military servicemen killed.

Let’s jump right into what these executive orders outline, and separate Obama’s bluster from reality by dissecting his so-called “fact sheet.”

“Um- He WAY overstepped his authority- He is saying that he will prosecute anyone that breaks his NEW gun laws- He is not allowed to make new laws- yet he did, and he is threatening enforcing them”

Personally, I don’t see this as a “Yay!” at all either. All the people who have gone through the looooong and expensive process of setting up an NFA Trust, are now going to have to jump through even more hoops with more piles of paperwork and most likely more money all over again with the stroke of his pen.

Make sure you are not a "registered" Republican. The RNC will probably offer up the voter rolls to dear leader.

Clearly they will be used to indicate mental incompetence.

Have you ever had a ruptured disc go mis diagnosed? For some it should be easier to obtain percoset. I just came off 6 months of having to have them. I dropped them as soon as I got surgery easily. Enough pain and they are a god send.

NEI used to make a bullet mold for .50 Browning.Finding a load that would function the weapon would be a challenge.

that sounds horrifying. Believe me I have post stroke pain syndrome and there’s no words for the pain. Percocet gives a little relief. But they were giving them out way too easily. This whole area is addicted, the kids.it’s odd though. I’ve taken very large doses of oxycontin and stopped them with no problems. Food and gambling are my vices. thank goodness I only like to go to Atlantic City or Las Vegas as a treat and for some reason the casino 20 minutes away doesn’t interest me. It makes no psychological sense. The food is an ongoing battle.
the casino at Kennedy Airport has been there for years now its 20 minutes away and I haven’t gone once. Yet if I were to go I would lose a fortune if I brought my bank card. Strange.

Register as a Democrat to vote against Hillary in the primary, then switch back to Republican or otherwise to vote Republican--especially for Republican members of Congress. That's where supporting the Second Amendment and making the government less busy with big spending is at: Congress.

As long as you can get ammunition for your gun, I would do
it that way. Too much can go wrong to risk it.

I just watched my dad pouring his own bullets for the
Smith & Wesson revolver, so it worked for something that
old & reliable. I suspect the molds he used were also ones
that his great grandfather used to mold his bullets!

Daddy was a combat veteran of WWII; and I imagaine the
bullets he used then were Government Issue.

You would probably come out better just buying the bullets
already done. - (I tend to burn myself in any endeavor
where I melt metal, wax or anything.)

Check out # 28 . - May as well do it; the dems practice this old scenario every election.

Could categorize it as fighting fire with fire.

I can’t afford a machine gun, but this might be a good time to buy a silencer. Not that I’d have trouble getting one in TX anyway, though.

I want a M2.

You need to be a little more specific.

M2, .50 Browning machinegun:

U.S. M2 .30 Carbine

M2 Light Tank: [technically, an M2A4]

Follow the link to the original article, and read the part about the HIPAA exclusion. There would be no remedy.

Actually, there is a remedy!

A question about the state reporting part: it’s voluntary, right?

So removing “legal barriers” still doesn’t compel a state to report, right?

This should be expected to trigger calls for increased vigilance at the state-level about this kind of reporting. “We don’t trust the Federal Government with our data, therefore won’t provide it” is an absolutely appropriate stance for a state to take here. And Conservatives dominate at the state level.

Finding a load that would function the weapon would be a challenge.

With a 650-grain bullet, try 248.0 grains of Hodgdon's H50BMG with a CCI 35 BMG primer loaded 5.450" OAL, which gives 3,029 fps and functions just fine in the two M2 heavy barrel guns and one M3 aircraft MG I've tried it in. The trick is not to find a load that functions the recoil-operated gun, but one that does not quite function, making single-round fire with an electrically-fired [M55 quad or aircraft mount] gun without spade grips and a bolt lock possible. We used to pull the same trick with the 20x138mm Lahti and Solothern antitank rifles when their ammo had gone a little past what .50 M2 costs now. But price some MK 211 .50 Raufoss and .50 M2 ball/tracer [Federal offers in in ten-round packs] doesn't seem so high.

But because of outdated regulations

Those 'outdated' (whatever that means) regulations still violate the Second Amendment.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Repeal the National Firearms Act, the NAZI inspired Gun Control act, and the Hughes Amendment.
