I switched to black in the 90-91 timeframe...

We could get coffee pretty easily, but cream and sugar were hard, if not near impossible to get where we were deployed.

I’ve enjoyed it ever since, robust/dark roasts (Italian) are what I like.

I started drinking black coffee in 1965 when I was drafted. I still drink it black and prefer Maxwell House, it’s the closest I can find to army issue.
