I'd like to try it with all my 60s GI Joes...except my Mom threw them all out decades ago. Just...damn.

I had 4 of them with olive drab, khaki and white togs. A Jeep, 4 M1 Garands, 2 M1A carbines, 2 foot lockers, boots in black and brown. No, I won't ever get over it.

I boxed all mine up in 89 and left to do an enlistment. If I had any idea that my mother would go into babysitting, I would have padlocked my old closet.

I visited enough but nothing was ever said.

After I got out, I went through my closet and found all kinds of broken, mismatched, and missing items. In that missing collection were two or three 50 cal. ammo boxes of mint baseball and football cards. I doubt any big time valuable ones but they were mine.
