GOP eager to fiercely defend non-citizen Muslims; Silent about Christian Bakers & Photogs
12/12/15 | sff

During one of my waking moments this morning, I was struck by this realization: within MOMENTS of Donald Trump speaking out about a temporary halt of Muslim immigration, there were GOP apparatchiks like Lindsay Grayed Ham and others denouncing the idea.

Over the past seven years, there have been good Christian people who have lost livelihoods and standing in the community on ACCOUNT OF THEIR RELIGION. No, it wasn't a religion of hate, but one of principles. They didn't chop someone's head off or shoot them.

They merely said "no" to a celebration of an event that violated their deeply held beliefs.

Where was Lindsay? Where was the GOP?

This party needs to be taken over by Constitutionalists and removed of its baggage handlers for corporate welfare and big government socialists.

G.O.P. Now stands for “Giving Obama Power”.

Their collective support for him is mind Boggling!

Defending radical Islam appears to be the “next big thing” in this country.

What has happened to American politics and politicians is mind boggling and the fact that there is a Trump on the scene is reminiscent of the irony of a bunch of like-minded guys getting together to hammer out a Constitution ...

Or the odds of a sea faring world never getting to the New World until God allowed God fearing people to "found" it

dont worry. When Trump or Cruz wins, it will be like the Giuliani terms, when sharpton was INVISIBLE, though he stomped his feet to be important.

they will all be invisible as they will be irrelevant

No, you’re EXACTLY RIGHT. The GOP has had its finger in the wind on social issues for the last 20 years.

This is why Trump trumps Cruz. His full-throated style empowers EVERYONE.

Is this some kind of collective death wish?

While I have no objection to somebody else wanting to take themselves out of this world a little prematurely, I do not desire to partake of the grape Flavor-Aid, Valium, Phenergan and cyanide cocktail.

What a distinctly liberal idea that is. Too many people filling up the earth, so we reduce the population to about 10% of the current level.

That ought to cure global warming. What the heck, a whole host of problems.

The logic of how to get there is a little faulty, though.

It isn't hard to fathom when you consider Mohammed's greatest achievement was to unify disparate and warring tribes under one banner and one God.

The Globalist Dream for this planet.

The GIVE.Obama.Power (GOP) party is also
the 1st to Defend Statism, ObamaCARE, ObamaTRADE,
imported Diseases by Quartering, and every
Islamic Murder and Slave taking ...
except when they are using the IRS to attack conservatives,
by McCain, or covering up Benghazi treason, by Issa.

They merely said no to celebrations that violated their
deeply held beliefs.

That’s it in a nutshell. They didn’t shoot people, blow
them up or chop off their heads.

The Republican Party, like America, is bankrupt. The Democrat Party is brain dead.

Both parties rehash the same stale ideas: tax, spend, meddle, legislate.

Trump and Cruz are a breath of fresh air.

The republicans love the Muslims until one of their family members is beheaded. Most are so damned stupid they don’t understand what islam is all about. They need to read and understand just a few verses of the evil Koran.

You might be on to something - protecting the supposed civil rights of foreign Islamic radicals seems to be the next big thing. The last big thing was promoting hedonism and especially all things “gay.” Now protecting Islamists who want to kill all the gays is the big thing.

I think I know the moment when this shift happened. For a while all you heard about was the former Bruce Jenner. The powers that be were trying to condition us to ignore basic distinctions like male and female. Then the former Bruce kind of disappeared and suddenly the next hero was the Islamist boy who made what appeared to any reasonable person to be a bomb. Here we were bullied to ignore obvious threats and odd behavior of Islamists. What I took away from that is there must be a lot of Islamist terrorists in place and ready to attack and the leaders of the left are trying to give the terrorists cover.

Until "good Christian people who have lost livelihoods and standing in the community on ACCOUNT OF THEIR RELIGION" can cough up more bribe money than the Saudis, Soros and Tom Donohue combined, the GOP isn't going to help them.

An excellent point. I recall waiting and waiting and waiting for some GOP voices to come out and stand up against the homo-fascist persecution of Christians, from the bakers to the photographers to the chapel owners and such. Yet the silence was deafening. And when the issue did occasionally break through, we had ‘leaders’ like Mike Pence who turned into cowering, spineless, sweating pools of blubber, capitulating at the drop of a hat.

Yet now we see the GOP leadership rushing out and falling all over themselves to defend foreign, non-citizen Muslims! The juxtaposition is just amazing, and one of the reasons I’ve grown to find the GOP just such a contemptable group, which not only no longer represents me, but seems bound and determined to facilitate those who spit on my values and beliefs. It’s just mind-boggling.
