I expect the attitude I’m seeing from the left. I’m just really saddened and a bit in disbelief when I see it coming from the right. We should be smarter than that!

When I add this to the economic things happening, the wars and then this video below, I have no doubt we are living in interesting times. It looks like we ALL deserve it. Left and right are as groups, both mindless mobs in a seriously changing world. We’re getting it from all directions at once. My tag line may be more accurate than I ever really imagined.

You are exactly right, and much of this can be traced not just to Parliaments that by nature are not responsive to the people, but to leftist ideology and social media.

When you consider that billions of people live together on this planet and there is very little holding these societies together, mindless disruptive behavior on a large scale can destroy everything..and I mean everything..

If there was ever a time to exhibit self control using whatever tool you have available, logic, reason, religion, it is now...

But like your tag line says, many of us fear that it may be too late.

I know I'll get death threats over this, but I had to do this with my previous dog before he left us (old age). He would eat the soap when I gave him a bath and then explosive diarrhea would be a problem for the next day or so. Took me a few times to put two and two together on what was causing it.

I resorted to taping his trap shut during the bath (I used a washcloth to keep the tape from sticking) to keep him from eating the soap suds. Sometimes you have to do what is best for the little nimrods.

Taping the guys moth shut for barking now, that's a training issue that can be solved with some patience. That was just downright cruel.

Facebook would remove the post and ban the thread if photos of murdered humans were posted.

If you look at her facebook page it looks like she is in Connecticut, not Florida.

I am in total agreement with you. I am one who believes that WWIII has been underway for some time. The pressure just has not been released yet in the form of the only political act remaining, and that is warfare.

It seems to be the end game for several players that we don’t all overtly see but they are very active. Not wearing a tinfoil hat but much of what Obama has done since assuming the role of POTUS, would be the things that one would do to put the US in Crisis Mode, and thus the entire world.

This business with Putin and Li Keqiang of China becoming more militant, seems to be a coming catalyst.

The only way to relieve all this pressure seems to be self evident.

No doubt. I think we've all been around long enough to see the reaction people have to anything involving pets. They seem to think they are more valuable than human life in some instances. Many are downright rabid, you've seen it... calling for the death of people who abuse an animal.

I'm pretty indifferent when it comes to animals. I believe in treating them with respect, and then killing them for freezer meat when done humanely and where applicable. I'm pretty attached to my dog, but it's a dog. God help her poor soul should I ever be faced with a life or death vet charge that's more than I can afford. You have to know where to draw the lines, and mine is a few hundred bucks. That money is best spent on my kids if I'm forced to choose.

Could be, perhaps she is vacationing in Daytona...I only know that she is in Daytona now..or was..

It really does not matter to me because she is not my neighbor or friend, or acquaintance.

And don’t forget Russia vs Turkey. We’re in the third inning and Turkey has the bat.

Looking at that picture you posted I have my doubts it is actually glue side of tape to snout. I doubt the outer exposed tape it is fresh tape either and after one or two uses it looses a lot of sticking power.

Duct tape can be used to make webbing or a splint in an emergency. All you have to do is cut a piece and put it glue side to glue side. This would not allow skin contact with glue or in this case fur. If they wrapped the dog's snout with a long piece of non glue exposed piece of tape and put a wrap of glued tape over it that would work and no one be the wiser. Look on top of the dogs snout they obviously have it folded back to where they can release it real fast. One layer of unwrapping and likely off it would come.

Ever tried to hold a Lab's snout closed with your hand? They'll usually let you for maybe a minute or two then begin pawing the hand. So where's the paw marks on the tape? The tape is wrinkled which makes me think it's used. In short I think the picture isn't as bad as some are thinking. Total time was likely 45 seconds to a minute. The dog doesn't appear stressed or in a panic which makes me think this was very short time on and off. I doubt glue touched the dog unless it was a miscalculation in wrapping.

Somebody not thinking likely thought it was a funny gag picture. Bad idea in these times.

Yes, I would concur with most if not all of that.

IMO, Animals (particularly domestic) are products of man. We bred them and are responsible for them when we bring them into the world.

People who abuse them come in several categories, and most of it is unintentional, like in the case of not being able to feed or care for them but unable as well to ask for help. I see this a lot and the authorities where I live treat these case individually.

Then you have some people who are defective socially and psychologically. These are the worst and they need to be stopped.

This woman falls into the unintentional category and likely meant nor caused any harm at all.

Well...On that note, Turkey seems to be backing up a bit. Almost apologetic.. I do not think that Russia, knowing they screwed up, will take this much further, but they are exposing themselves and the rest of the world to great risk by trying to save Assad.

The real issue with Russia is further incursions into the former soviet republics, some of which are in NATO, and Putin no doubt plans to do it and gradually make NATO a paper tiger as the US fades the scene like a the peace chicken.

“...would have approved of my way of dealing with a horse who thinks he is in charge.....lol...”

I dated a gal back in college that had a show horse - a huge Arabian to her 110 lbs. One time it was acting up and not letting her get the saddle on. I can’t remember now if she kicked it or punched it - but it took her three times before it got the message and settled down.

I was also much more careful around her too! (The girl that is!)

I’m wondering if this duct-tape thing made any difference on the barking? I would guess not.

She said something like, it was only for a minute people so lighten up. Also that it worked, the dog stopped barking after.
