Ah brain fart, FX is the company Independance is the model, self contained
PCP.
The Daystate Regal XL for the reduced price of approx. $1300.00........
So what are the costs of the items you mentioned in your above post, especially the necessary equipment?
I'm aware that the rifles are expensive but I have no idea what the necessary accessories will cost me.............
thanks for your help.......
As a side note, Ted and the other videos mention “BAR” when talking about cylinder pressure. What does that mean?
BAR is the metric conversion of PSI
Usually the gauges on the rifle and the filling tank will show both.
The valve, air gauge and hose with proper fitting at both ends,@ $135-150
The tank,if carbon fiber. Small tank @ $200. It would give you app 12-15 refills, so say apprx 45 shotsX 12- 15 : 540-675 shots
Large tank like I have(still much,much smaller than a scuba) 45-50 refills.
But,that tank is between $500-$600,plus valve gauge and hose&fittings.
One caveat, most of the new rifles come with regulators,so I could be off on shot count, might be between 55-70 shots per charge.
Don’t know what the Daystate Regal XL gets, but I do remember she is real purty and classic looking rifle
PCP’s are very addictive, really really fun to shoot, and like I said earlier, most people have no idea how scary accurate these puppies are.
Common house fly at 40 yards anybody, dimes at 50 yards, pigeon head(size of a quarter) at 70 yards. And those shots were laser ranged.
Fun
