I closed the update manager without selecting any updates (that KB3035583 was the only “important” update showing today). Yet, when I shut down my computer this afternoon, Win7 went into the “Installing update 1 of 1. Please do not shut down computer” routine.

I shut off auto updates two weeks ago! And I can only imagine which “update” was installed today. I’ll probably get another Win10 update message first thing when I log in tomorrow.

This is really getting to be too much. My extreme dislike of MS is becoming disgust. I paid for my Win7, and I’m happy with it, and do not want Win10. So why can’t they just leave me alone already?

hmm- I uninstalled the update, then hid it, and only do manual updates myself- and haven’t had it reinstall on me, but I haven’t done any updates recently either- maybe it will happen to me too I don’t know
