One theory is that DB was in the midst of a sex change and disappeared by living out his life as a woman. Seriously, this theory was being passed as a possibility a few years ago.

Bailing out on a Northwest Airlines flight seems reasonable.
Remember, D B Cooper bailed out at night in the middle of a huge storm, over unknown terrain, and never heard from again.
About 10-12 years later a family camping in Oregon came upon a bag filled with old weather worn money believed to be from the hijacking.
It was also found that the man of that family was wanted for some crime in Oklahoma.
I believe DB Cooper threw live Turkeys out of his plane while over the Pinedale Shopping Mall
There’s one guy who looks just like the Cooper sketches who got pinched for an attempted airline hijacking or ransom, JUST like DB. I’m pretty sure it’s that guy.

Hate to pick nits (nah, not really) but he wasn’t D.B. Cooper. He was D. Cooper on the passenger manifest. Sloppy reporting got the “B” stuck in there somehow.
Nope ... saw the Movie, they don’t even look alike
I remeber they made a movie about him and the best line from that movie was:
“That’s not just a car, It’s a 1969 Ford Galaxy 500”
“Here’s $2000 for it.”
“It’s your car, man.”
His large brood? four children? I had to laugh at that one.
