I believe evil people do give off an aura, if you will. And sometimes you can sense it. I had a customer years ago when I waited tables. He and his wife and her daughter came in often, but I do not think I had waited on him myself previously. So this day they are at my table. Anyway they are normally behaved and he is polite etc, but I got an overwhelming sense of evil and it was like a horrible wrongness and he just totally creeped me out. There was no outward justification for me to feel that way. Some time later we found out he was arrested for molesting young girls.

My stepson had an episode while in college, where he disappeared from a party, indoors, after talking to two females no one seemed to recognize. He turned up the next day wearing only his bluejeans shorts and one sock, behind a quickstop station in Knoxville, TN. To this day, he has no recollection of how he got there from Murfresboro, TN. At the time I had been reading of the strange disappearances of young men in college towns, turning up dead in bodies of water, sometimes a week after disappearing but showing signs of being in the water only a few hours. It spooked me good, don'tchaknow!
Bingo! This Earth that God created has its mysteries. I do believe in UFO because the Bible speaks of them or shall gives hint to them. As for people disappearing, can it be God giving us a glimpse of what the rapture will be like. Imagine millions instead of 1 person just poof off the face of the Earth.
These people who disappeared in the past, they did not die neither they simply vanished into thin air. The Bible does states that when the rapture occur, we will not die but to be united with those in Christ in the air in a TWINKLING OF AN EYE.
There are several odd scenes int he Bible which hint strongly of a parallel where/when un detected by our sense (see Daniel chapter five, for starters).
