Why duplicate the touch functionality of the screen on the keyboard in a metaphor? The iPad is not a pointer based system as there is no cursor like pointer on the screen to be easy to see. Your finger or the Apple Pencil take on that job. The trackpad is superfluous.
If you have a keyboard for the iPad Pro, it props the screen in the proper position just as a kickstand does. Who needs a magnetic dock for the Apple Pencil. . . especially when that is one of the things users of the Surface are complaining about. . . about how easy it is to knock it off the stylus dock.
In side-by-side speed comparisons, the iPad Pro/Apple Pencil blew the Surface/MS Stylus out of the water because the MS stylus was very laggy.
True that. The latency is remarkable on the Pro. It is a masterpiece, to be sure.
