Who is the 'Wet Prince of Bel-Air'? LA resident infuriates his neighbors by using a 11.8 MILLION GALLONS of water a year despite the severe drought as a 'posse' sets out to identify him

Unidentified resident of wealthy Los Angeles neighborhood is state's top waster of water, using 90 times average household use

Authorities have handed out fines to celebrities using water for their mansions' pools, including Kylie Jenner, Tyga and David Hasselhoff

Residents of a posh Los Angeles neighborhood furious after their neighbor used 11.8million gallons of water while others cut back to preserve the precious resource in the middle of California's drought.

Authorities have refused to identify the 'Wet Prince of Bel Air' , whose home used roughly 90 times the amount for an average household during the year that ended in April.

Some more rural communities have had wells go dry in the state's continuing drought, but other well-to-do residents of Bel Air are disgusted at their neighbor flouting rules with relative impunity.

Since the state of California mandated a reduction in water use this year, communities have handed out fines for overuse or watering on restricted days.

However, being forced to pay $500 does not cause financial panic for those living in super-sized mansions.

Water can be turned off after repeated violations, though there have been no reported cases of the extreme measure so far.

Reality star Kylie Jenner, rapper boyfriend Tyga, David Hasselhoff and Denise Richards were all cited for water wasting this summer.

The agency said Beverly Hills, Indio, Redlands and the Coachella Valley Water District were all not doing enough to meet their targets.

Four of the top five biggest water wasters in the entire state of California were in Bel Air, followed by others in nearby Brentwood and Beverly Hills.

My guess is that he’s either one of the tech giants or a Saud.

It’s probably not an actor, as those guys are highly dependent on praise and doing the approved thing.

It probably takes a couple million gallons of water to rinse the funk of Kanye West off Kim Kardashian’s nether regions.

11.8 million gallons in a year is about 22.4 gallons per minute. Basically a fully open residential 3” pipe.

Which would suggest that it might be one of the older Hollywood homes in need of some serious maintenance. A lot of the Hollywood elites don’t even look at their bills and don’t have a clue as to what is being paid out.

Lance Armstrong was among the water use leaders in Austin a few years back.

That was when he had more Tour Championships than me.

I am glad we are tied again.

Shouldn’t be that hard to figure out.

Just look around to see who’s got the biggest, greenest lawn.

Well, referencing a very old joke goes, after the last bag of water use, he'll be buried in a shoe box.

Do you have a 3 inch pipe coming into your house. Seems large. Standard time pipe from the street in Maine is 1/2 or 3/4 and provides plenty of eat water and pressure.
