I’m about politicked out and we still have a year to go.
Sometimes these ranting hosts (Levin and Savage especially) are a bit much to take. Then, one station I get has Art Bell on at 11pm, and I keep thinking the Mothership is about to land.
What a maroon this guy is!

Savage repeats the "misconception" that the 14th Amendment gives ILLEGAL alien children born here, U.S. citizenship. SCOTUS has never ruled on that.
However some cases involving non citizens contain a judge's "incidental expression of opinion, not essential to the decision and not establishing precedent -- an incidental remark" (obiter dictum).
Internet sources: In weighing a remark uttered under such circumstances, it is well to bear in mind the often quoted words of Chief Justice Marshall:
"It is a maxim not to be disregarded that general expressions in every opinion are to be taken in connection with the case in which those expressions are used. If they go beyond the case, they may be respected, but ought not to control the judgment in a subsequent suit when the very point is presented for decision. The reason of this maxim is obvious. The question actually before the court is investigated with care, and considered in its full extent. Other principles which may serve to illustrate it are considered in their relation to the case decided, but their possible bearing on all other cases is seldom completely investigated."
The opinions expressed by justices vis-a-vis ILLEGAL alien children born here were beyond the cases being decided.

On Radio he’s awesome I didn’t say I agreed with his politics.
I started listening to him even before Coast-to-Coast when was only on KDWN. I could pick it up late at night.
I liked his show all through the 1990s.. then he wrote that book The Coming Super Storm" (or similar). Then it seemed that all his shows involved "them" (dead or aliens) telling us earthlings to "Watch it! Stop damaging the Earth." I lost interest in his show.
I recall that when he was doing week-ends after he retired he mentioned that he had put a lot of money in the idea of global warming and the industry that it would create.
And I still recall those "Impeach Earl Warren" billboards all over the country.
We could have gotten civil rights accomplished without destroying the Tenth Amendment.
